I was there. Great match! I thought both would go on to NCAA titles, but my hometown guy kinda faded away at Pitt. Marsteller battled thru some personal demons and is now on the US team.

This honestly a tie match is you ask me. Triple OT that was attributed to the first person that got the original escape point in the first place. They both escaped each other at very quick times. The HS rules limited the true results of this already amazing bout.

Yeah marsteller definitely won that. I had 3 stall calls again Cody. He j wasn’t as aggressive as marsteller until the 3rd round, and he only really took 1 good shot

Was at this match..p.a wrestling classic they do at the end of each season. chance was a 4 timer in and Cody was 123-4. And 2 timer in p.a..this match was pretty much dead even abd a classic..im sure you can find the full match still..cody kind if never panned out in college at pitt and was schocking chance never did better than 3 rd in ncaa..but he did beat burrows now ..

How realistic is it for a young - 18-year-old boy, winner of the championships of Russia (more than once), Europe and the world in freestyle wrestling in his age categories (including the Russian U-21 championship that ended 2 months ago) to move to the USA and go to college and so on, continuing to fight. The guy is a super talent and at least not stupid, polite, but, unfortunately, uneducated, without knowledge of the language. And he has a place to live in the USA (or Canada) - the Great Lakes region.
