Chandler, Horton, and Keller on the Church in Culture 

This is from 2011, look at where we’ve come with Church and Politics, we should have paid attention. Jesus belongs to no party, our job is to follow His ways without pride, prejudice or judgement, set His example and pray (love God and neighbor). The church has no place in politics and vice-versa, plain and simple. All those causing strife and havoc to get their political points across “in the name of Jesus” are deluged with pride and need to let go of self. The ends justifying the means for political purposes is not Gospel driven. God bless!

DR. Horton as you began and described church as an "institution" distinct from and possibly separate from regenerate believers, if I heard/understood you correctly; I would disagree and say to the degree a group which is called a church is distinct from regenerate believers that group in the same degree is not a church but a religious group parading as a church and the calling on those people is one towards genuine Biblical faith. nothing precedes that for calling first and always begins wit the call to repentance and faith, and everything legitimate both follows and flows directly out of that or it otherwise is just a sham of hypocrisy and fakery whether people know it or not. Therefore, (2 Peter 1:9-10...).

Why doesn't Tim Keller ever preach against the sin of abortion which is a celebrated sin in the culture of New York City? Seems like he is afraid of the backlash he'd receive.
