Pete, great demo.... would have loved to hear the mic without the preamp then with the preamp so we could see how much color was being added by the preamp. Got to love those Mojave mics...Dusty and crew do a great job!

Hi Pete. thanks for the video. I'm thinking about a pair for my lunchbox, mainly for recording an old Roland JX-3P which is a bit thin when competing with my Pro One in the mix. Hoping to beef it up a bit without turning to EQ (not a fan of too much EQ on synths). I understand this preamp can accept line level signals? Any benefit in running through a DI box to bring the synth down to mic level? I'm a bit ignorant on how a preamp actually works under the hood. Thanks! - Jon
