I KEEP tryingggg to give her a chance but it just isn't working. Viard doesn't seem to have any vision. Presenting these mishmash collections!! Ugh. Just all over the place. Silhouettes, hair, shoes (the worst), no flow thru theme....no fantasy...THIS IS COUTURE? I know we're still in pandemic mode...but why couldn't that in itself be inspiration? It's time for her to go! I know the Premieres have to be talking behind her back...
My sentiments, EXACTLY! For one, even over-sized clothing has to 'fit'. I saw nothing of couture in this 'jambalaya' of clothing. And if Selma Hyak's husband is looking to buy the brand, if he doesn't already own it.......save your money.
I SORT of agree about the lack of inspiration and overtly haute-construction, but then again the idea of a uber-coherent 'collection' is a bit passe at this point, or at least overrated. I don't personally give a shit if the pieces aren't part of a single visual story. I want individual pieces to be brilliant rather than serving some ephemeral catwalk theme.

Don't say that Haute Couture is Art or Fantasy. So many people are dying every minutes by Covid 19 and not sure when will win this war. I don't think should still do the Haute Couture fashion week. There is no point to do the show. And there is another no point to present such a "UGLY" and "TRASHY" collection.
What are you using to criticize? a computer? a cell phone? Anyway, you are using technology that contains cobalt, a material that kills and enslaves many people. So throw your computer or smartphone in the trash and stop doing cheap demagogy.
I'm bored out of my mind sitting at home with the lockdowns in place. These shows are actually keeping me entertained and keeping my mind off of the crap the world is in today. I definitely don't think it's wrong for haute couture to continue. It's their money and they can do whatever they want with it. Companies don't want to go out of business. If ur so keen on helping the world, put ur phone down and actually do something rather than whining. What are you even doing watching haute couture if u don't like it? Get a life and let others enjoy.
