A silicone spatula is great for cleaning food off dishes and easier to clean than a sponge. Be careful with lemon as lemon pips along with orange pips, peas, rice grains and sweet corn can find their way to cause blockages.

Per i piatti sporchi basta metterli nel lavandino e quando si lavano le mani e in cucina si fa spesso, si lava via il più sporco, si evita di pulire ogni volta il filtro. Per il resto tutto ok

Our regular dishwasher program lasts over 2 hours. That is a lot of water and electricity. I tried the short cycle which only runs 34 minutes and all the dishes were clean! I do rinse the food off before putting into the dishwasher.

The regular cycle on dishwashers that last for hours don't use that much power or water. Most of that time is just spend letting the dishes soak in suds.

The shorter cycles use more water and power because the manufacturers need to make them efficient. I think you can read more about this in the user's guide. If your dishwasher has an "eco" program, it's probably going to be the one that uses the least water and electricity despite probably taking the most time.

Oh Gott. Niemals Geschirrspülmittel in der Spülmaschine verwenden Niemals Essig verwenden. Dadurch werden die Gummidichtungen porös. Zum Entkalken nur Zitronensäure verwenden, niemals Essigsäure.

Why did I never think to tilt that rack?!?! Love The Towel Trick. Learned it too late, new dishwasher automatically pops open to let dishes dry. Pass on the foil ball, I don't use metal scrubbies on most dishes because they are glass or things with shiny finishes.

Some nice tips here! But my dishwasher top rack cannot be shifted...But I like the idea of closing the glass holder over and tipping the glasses on it. As for cleaning...I was advised to use about 1/2 cup vinegar placed at the rear corner on top and the same on the bottom rack but in the corner opposite the one on the top!...and run a cycle.

Buongiorno! Anch'io faccio così a parte la pallina di alluminio i piatti e stoviglie che io pulisco di più perché se non si riesce a fare il carico completo dopo si produce cattivo odore anche se metto limone o deodoranti appositi. Abbiamo la stessa lavastoviglie: lava molto bene per me ed è molto versatile visto che si può adattare a seconda di quel che si lava. Grazie!

Yo saco los restos con uña servilletas de papel si no pongo una palangana con un poco de agua y quito Los restos y quedan bien si no gastas mucha agua se supone que tienes el lavavajillas para ahorrar agua y trabajo

Non si deve mettere il limone in lavastoviglie xche la polpa si stacca e va a finire negli ugelli dello spruzzo otturandolo. Me lo disse il tecnico delle riparazioni

Signora provi a mettere solo la buccia e la parte bianca, io se spremo un limone tolgo la polpa con il coltello e lascio solo la buccia, profuma cmq, utile specie per lavare i piatti se ho cucinato pesce o uova!

Some of us still do the dishes hardcore, basin of soapy water a sponge and get to it, takes a few minutes as to how long for the machine? Not very economical with all this climate change lark, oh and the energy price hikes.

Anziché mettere lo strofinaccio e chiudere lo sportello dovresti sapere che lo sportello non va chiuso ma lasciato un po aperto appunto per far uscire il vapore e quindi l'umidità....poi é ovvio che fai vedere il contenitore asciugato da te....e poi mostrato asciutto.

Piu di un tecnico di elettrodomestici, mi ha detto di non mettere mai l'aceto nella lavastoviglie, come nella lavatrice. È troppo corrosivo, rovina tantissimo. Io non volevo che il brillantante rimanesse sulle stoviglie, visto che lo sportellino si apre con con l'ultimo risciacquo, cosi ho risolto usando un detersivo in gel che contiene anche il brillantante, quindi alla fine viene tutto risciacquato

@@rosangelamallei1080 io uso il PRILL, mi sembra si chiami cosi, in questo momento sono in vacanza, ho rimosso 😂😂😂. Nel flacone ci sono le indicazioni per le dosi, io metto sempre un pochino meno.Le stoviglie vengono perfette, e do una mano per il poco che sia al pianeta. Ovviamente prima elimino molto bene i residui di cibo dai piatti. Buona giornata

Io in lavastoviglie ci metto di tutto, accortezze particolari non ne ho, solo di sciacquare dai residui di cibo prima di mettere in lavastoviglie. Viene tutto perfetto, si asciuga anche la plastica e macchie d'acqua non ne ho quasi mai. E la mia lavastoviglie è vecchia vecchia, marcia come un treno 😅. Certo se ne comprassi una nuova non la tratterei così, anche se la sua utilità per me è proprio questa.

Pretty good tips but some of them are terrible. Never put detergent in your washing machine! You should only use dishwasher detergent, they are different. Also I am not convinced by the usefulness of aluminum, old lemon etc. There are salts and rinse products specifically made for your dishwasher. I have a similar machine, no stains and no odors and I use all the approved cleaners by the manufacturer.
