Love there bags, hate that they have there logo right up front with survival on it. Instantly puts it on my do not purchase list because it draws attention to what could be in it. I went with a 95l gregory duffle thats all black and no logos. Does the same in terms of backpack straps and other straps

Thanks for this timely video. I'd been going back and forth on another bag for the same reasons as you have laid out. It is double the price of these bags. So I grabbed two of these Fieldcraft bags..the small and largest for the price of the competitors one. Dope🔥 looking forward to running them.

Great video and good points. I like the idea of using large hard side box to transport through airport security and having another less noticeable bag inside of the case. I also really love supporting Mike and the AmCon movement but I think the Vertx 85L Contingency Duffel is a little more capable for similar cost on Amazon.

The snow storm in Georgia was so bad. It was only a couple of inches of snow but the highways were so backed up it was crazy.

Too much branding logos and whatnot. Also the lack of wheels is a no-no. Sometimes i just need to roll things around. As a matter of fact i found that standard luggage does the job perfectly well.

So they're exactly like a north face duffel... Like perfect mirror image.. with velcro inside for more money? I'll keep to north face and having people think I'm a hardcore hiker instead of carrying a rifle

Seen alot of metal shackles break? Huh, gonna call bs on that. Could've used a more realistic reason on carrying soft shackles, like saves weight or less of a danger when strap breaks and goes flying.

It's difficult to prepare when you don't know exactly what you are preparing for there are too many hypotheticals some are unrealistic

True, but I think setting a realistic baseline of tools and gear that will help you in most situations is reasonable. Like most things its all about problem solving.
