Do you drain the old oil out for over winter?

Evan Loback always! And I leave them open so any remaining oil/possible water drains out, and the fresh stuff goes in come spring time

FishingTheNorth Good info! I’m getting a boat and motor this year so this is helpful.

Evan Loback nice, newer or older motor? If it's an older motor like this one, apart from new spark plugs, and a carb clean it should run great for you. If it's sat for a while and impeller would be a good idea as well!

FishingTheNorth It’s a 15 horse Mercury two stroke. 2004. The guy who owned it took really good care of it. It hasn’t been started this year yet but very soon!
