I was convinced these were a sealed LED unit - my fog light has gone and I was about to replace the entire light unit and only just discovered from this video that its not an LED unit at all! Thanks for saving me about £98!
Morning Gabriel, if you are local to Halfords I used Halfords 380 P21/5W Car Bulbs x 2 led bulbs Also you can find them on eBay. They make a difference. Hope this helps.
Thanks for comment, I think you'll need a Ring Pro 380 P21/5W Car Bulb Twin Pack If you're in the UK you can get this from halfords I'm not sure if they are worldwide or even on ebay or euro car parts
Hey, yes they are canbus error free. The camera sometimes make the lights look like it's flickering. You can get them on eBay, eurocarparts or halfords
Hi Robert, you might be able to reach the bulbs with just 3* Screws but it could be a challenge. It's best to remove the whole boot lining, so you don't damage anything or yourself. 👍
Hi, thanks for the questions. All the bulbs should be changeable. FOR BMW 3 Series F30 F31 Upgrade P21W Ba15s ERROR FREE LED Reverse Light 6000K is the reserve bulbs, and it should be the same or ERROR FREE 382 P21W 1156 BA15S XENON WHITE CANBUS LIGHT BULB REVERSE BRAKE STOP Ebay or Amazon should have them
Hi yes they are both reversing bulbs: 380 P21/5W Car Bulbs x 2 led bulbs if you have a local halfords or euro carparts the should sell them or on ebay or amazon www.ebay.co.uk/itm/133834137326
You probably need the brown earth connection & the green stripe one too. But you might get away with just the green stripe one. I normally would use an earth connection & a positive terminal for power
Hey there, the reverse wire should already be there. It's just for you to plug in the camera cable and hardwire the remaining wire to an earth connection or part of the car if it needs extra power. Like a screw or bolt
@@christopheranderson4476 , Anytime. You shouldn't need to. Especially with the bmw it should just be plug and play. The cable should automatically give you power
@@phutran5698 This error code indicates that one or more outputs of the rem module circuit exceeded the number of allowed circuits, the rem module is the rear electronic module of the BMW (rear electronic module). This is not a major fault, unless at the time of making the installation of the lights a short has occurred. Otherwise, it is simply that one of the circuits is overloaded perhaps you did not take the outputs or the connectors correctly towards the lights, so it is good to check them again. You might just need to replace a fuse.
