A lot of people don't realize that using super shoes for every workout and competition will make your foot weaker. And I can speak from experience cuz I used to wear them for everything and when I switched back to regular shoes I felt horrible. But now I workout on regular shoes and only wear my super shoes a couple of weeks out from competition and you can really feel the difference. I’ve started feeling the benefit of switching it up, I also feel like it’s good mentally to not rely on them too much, and to focus on getting your body into shape and not overthinking how much you’re going to gain from the spikes. Thanks for the support!
I've tried middle distance/splats before in the past and they just don't give me the stability that I like at high speeds, so recently I tend to lean toward the sp1/finesse for my alternate spikes

I would say so purely down to the fact that they don’t use a carbon plate so there’s less force being transferred through your feet, it’s kind of a trade off speed for comfort
