Old Guard: Number 7 Company Coldstream Guards New Guard: F Company Scots Guards Musical support: Band of the Welsh Guards Band of the Coldstream Guards
Well you certainly got an excellent vantage point for filming here👍 Great video for both picture quality and sound. Of course the subject matter helps too😎 Both bands are in fine form, the Band of the Coldstream Guards lead by Senior Drum Major Gareth Chambers, who gives his customary excellent performance (with some extra special flourishing hand signals at 5:25 ) And the band of the Welsh Guards with, I think DM Laing) I wish I was knowledgable enough to name the marches played but I’m not so hope Delvin the expert turns up😎 Thank you very much for posting this👍
thank you for your valued contribution. I am very pleased that you like these as much as I do recording them. Stay tuned - hit the subscribe button and notification bell, because I will be bringing Trooping the Colour - COLONEL'S Review (Hopefully HRH Princess of Wales) you're more than welcome to browse my other videos on the channel; I do hope you enjoy them too.
All of the commands came through loud and clear. Great video. I recognized, “do-re-mi,” “bohemian rhapsody,” and, “anything goes,” as three of the static pieces, and whatever was played at 25:23 was fantastic. Sounded a bit James Bond-ish.
Since when did the Guards start recruiting Midgets ? The drill looked shabby and one or two of them anticipated wrongly to drill orders. If you search for videos of previous ceremonies from decades ago, you'll see a big improvement.
