For some reason I always seem to put off changing the blades. You try and get a little more out of them and they are getting costly as well. Thanks. Stevo
The video was excellent. I changed the blades as I watched. However my planer still doesn't work. The motor runs fine but the cutter doesn't turn. What do I look at next?
The only thing it could really be would be the drive belt and you would have to do some disassembly to get to it. Hopefully it just popped off. Give that a look. Thanks. Stevo
How's she goin'? New blades make the planer like new eh!! I like the little magnet thingy you have for getting the blades out. That it some sweet. My planer doesn't have those alignment pins and I have to set the blades by measurement. A bit tricky but not that bad. This system is way better though!! Take care!!
When you have to set your blades it can be tricky. You can probably resharpen yours and that is what I would prefer. New sharp blades make the machine just like new again though. Thanks Mike. Stevo
