Great little video. I appreciate it! I'm used to older vehicles. Prior to this, the newest car I'd rebuilt was an '84 TransAm lol. Got a musty MUSTY bad smell in my car after just shy of 50k miles in my '18 Silverado. Thanks for this!

Are ya sure it goes with the arrow pointing down? Great video but thought the air flow came in and up through this box to supply the system….not sure.

The air comes from the outside, through the blower motor and down into the cab

My 2018 Silverado takes a T15 torx for the cabin filter.

okay I think those are torques bit heads not Allen wrench heads

write the change date on the tab you saved for next time or write the date on the inside glovebox---JD

Just leave the filter out. Cars in 90s and earlier didn't have them.

Depending on the brand filter you buy... Some brands the words will be upside down when you point the air flow arrow downward. Also the Super Tech cabin air filter from Walmart is made in the USA. I think some Fram filters are made in other places besides China too but many companies have factories in various countries.
