I believe so yes , if they use the same strips as the G20 I have its rather inexpensive aswel about R250-270 a dash strip if I remember correct

I have a x1 2016 and this works. I went to Menu, Settings, then Interior lighting. Chose Ambience lights. There were a choice of - Off, -Classic, -Modern. The Classic gave it a red glow.

My ambient lighting won’t stay on my colour choice. Keeps defaulting back to blue. Any ideas why this has suddenly started happening?

Are you switching keys? It could be due to using the 2nd key fob. Each key is its own profile. If you're using your 2nd key on occasion that could very well be defaulted to blue. Not what you have saved for your 1st (Primary Key Fob). Hope that helps!

I actually don't have this option on my menu. It's a 2021. Just purchased used so maybe I need to install the app, set up my driver profile, and look into options on there? Not sure.

I have a Launch Edition 3Msport bought from bmw fourways , Why cant I choose red it does not even have that option?

@@BMWNorthwest ridiculous to have an M-Sport but I cant even select the colours of the badge for my interior, in my Mustang GT I can even create my own colour.
