I got my car last November and had no software issues or bugs other than at first the cruise control was clearly set up for left hand drive cars. This was fixed by the over the air update the cat recieved a few months ago (a896)...there are a couple of episodes on the channel re this 👍👍
@adox256 sliding is no where near as accurate as tapping. If you were not supposed to tap why can you turn on your heated seats by "tapping" both the red and cold heat toggles at the same time....
Bro i got the cupra leon it had 15k Kilometers its new but my battery is so fast draining so i drive almost every day for 2 hours charging in the car while driving. Before this i had a Golf 7gte ehybrid and with that car i never had to charge it because of the regeneration. Is there any way for a good regen but not every time the brake light goes on because if you drive on the highway every time you let the gas go the brake flashes.. pls help guys🙌🙌 i drive it in the cupra mode in its D not S
I've had the car for 2 and a half years and the little glitch never reappeared. The car has been faultless really and id definitely recommend getting the e-hybrid if you have home charging. We have and as such we only ever use petrol when on a long journey or if towing....the rest of the time we love driving in electric mode, firstly because it's so smooth and secondly because it's far cheaper than petrol. We have decided to go full electric when we change in 6 months
Hello mate, I've had my Formentor 2 days and it's slammed on twice automatically now for no reason. Luckily on quiet streets going around 15mph. Any idea why it's doing this?
Mate,it's the forwards radar kicking in...it's quite sensitive tho, especially in residential areas.....it's obvs to prevent collisions. If it's too sensitive tho, have a word with your local cupra dealer, hopefully they can adjust it for you 👍👍
Oh great, screen lag! Replacing my company merc for one of these and dreading it. Mercedes for 3yrs, never missed a beat, everything worked first time always after 120k miles. I cannot see the cupra crap doing the same 😢
Is there a way of disabling the Lane keep assist permanently instead of switching back on every time the car is started? It is horrid and invasive in my opinion. Having to press the screen four times every time I use it is ridiculous.
If you look in my guides tho, there is a shortcut without having to go to the screen......press the lane assist button on the left of the steering wheel then press ok on the jog wheel on the right side of the steering wheel and it will disable it.
Anybody know of how to turn off the voice active as when me and Mrs are chatting it thinks we're asking it a question (No jokes required about muting Mrs please)..
It's in settings,I had to turn mine off too as it was driving me crazy (android auto/carplay commands continue to work fine,it's just the cupra voice control that's turned off)
@@kash748 ok thats great thanks, 👍👍, is there a command word that I don't know about when talking or should it just ask when I press the button ya know?..
@@garyharding394 the built in system is listening all the time and should just respond to "Ola" but I find it responds to anything which is why I deactivated it....its pointless anyway,I much prefer android auto.
@@kash748 yes exactly thats what I found when chatting in the car,..didn't ask it but it just interrupts.. Didn't know it was 'ola'... Omg 😂🙈..thanks again 👍
Had a few issues with mine. When I don’t have the Battery charged, during motorway driving it seems to want to Charge the battery leaving my MPG at around 30!! Also, recently, the ‘Boost’ function when you put you accelerate hasn’t been working in comfort. Leaving the Petrol engine revving loud! Also had the message ‘High Voltage Battery empty please charge now’ … this will be the cars battery and maybe the regen and this are linked but shouldn’t be happening on a 71 Plate 3k Miles Formentor. Thoughts Kash?
If you go into settings, you can adjust how much battery you want the car to retain on journeys...I have mine at the minimum of 20 percent so it's not trying to recharge the battery on the move (which increases your mpg)...seems to work for me. I've definitely found that boost is a lot more visible when used in sport or cupra...but then again,I don't really push the engine if it's not in sport or cupra,I'm generally using the engine gently in comfort mode
