Golden days growing up in Dubai watching channel 33. Times flies . RIP

I meet Richard accidentally and found out just afterwards that was Richard coram from channel 33 . We use to look forward to watch him on news and the moves which use to come . What a great man , we will truly miss him RIP .

He was the voice of Dubai , Took me back to the old days of Dubai! It had that charm!

Funny the way he pronounced “Dariya Dil” - the Govinda-Kimi Katkar hindi movie title! 😂 On a more serious note, Richard Coram was one of the most iconic figures on the Dubai radio and television circuit of the 80s and the early 90s whose style and voice can evoke nostalgia for us 80s UAE born and bred kids at the drop of a hat. Sad that the unfortunate events of this year claimed a legend of his stature! RIP Richard Coram - thank you for the memories!

I met him, or rather he walked near my table at Ock Rock (think it was called) rock concert he used to promote. Said hello to him but he ignored me. Probably because we were all shouting "Where's Natalie" referring to the blonde bombshell who co hosted Ch 33. We were only randy teens at the time.
