I definitely think focusing on what YOU want to make and are currently passionate about will directly translate into better and more entertaining videos. You'll also reach a broader audience if the games you cover are different. Focusing on just one series at a time also risks alienating a portion of your existing audience who might not be interested in the franchise you're covering. Whatever you choose just know that you've got some seriously great potential to make it big since your retrospectives are hands down unmatched!
Hey Scion! Just want to post a few responses from me (not the audience as a whole). While I am a huge fan of your Paper Mario and Mario and Luigi series, I do think that if you are really excited to cover a game, you should prioritize that. Doing things that you would rather not do can lead to burnout, and you have a handful of fans who I doubt would want you to stop. Also, the more passionate you are, the more fun YOU have making it, and it is YOUR channel, so don’t forget that. If you want to do a TOTK video, it is up to you, however, it is a massive game, and with the huge amount of big releases coming soon, make sure you don’t take up too many burdens, as having 5 unfinished products leads to stress on your end and no content on the viewers end. Finally, congrats on the weight loss! It can be hard to get into the exercise mindset, and doing so shows a lot of determination to better yourself. In conclusion, do what makes you happy! I’ll watch whatever you put out, as whatever it is, I know it is incredibly high quality, and with a passionate man behind them!
What the fat loss is concerned, I have some knowledge from my dietician I want to pass on. It greatly improved my results and quality of life! She recommended two videos of Natalie Oceane which discuss metabolism and fat loss. Definitely worth a watch! The most important thing I learned is that with calorie deficits larger than 15% you burn exponentially more muscle instead of fat and you will get relative energy deficiency symptoms wich reduce quality of life. I know it's a bit odd for me to get into this, but I know it's hard to get proper information on this subject. Let me know if it helps you out as much as it helped me.
