Hello!
WOW things have finally started to work out for tourism again, and I have some good news for you :)
When I started this channel I was unemployed and with no perspectives on what the future would be like for travelers willing to visit Portugal. But now I can say people are confident enough to schedule their vacation in Portugal, and that Coimbra is making part of their travel plans. I have been receiving requests for guided tours and travel consultancy, and I couldn't be happier.
But that means I am busy and I cannot publish a couple of videos every single week (as I was doing until now)! Anyway... I haven't forgotten about you and this channel, that already makes part of my life, so I have been collecting footage and working on new content to share with you in a near future.
I have spoken with the person responsible for one of the most incredible Cafes of Portugal, Vitor Marques of Café Santa Cruz... and that's one of my future videos. You'll learn all about the history of that amazing place and their event calendar!
I have also traveled to the south of Lisbon and visited lovely places in Arrábida Mountain: an ancient Castle, a trail with windmills, secluded paradise beaches and even roman ruins! I can't wait to edit those videos and let you know how to get out of the tourist track when visiting the capital of Portugal. Those are certainly some of my top suggestions of places to visit around Lisbon!
