I don't watch youtube shorts and quit subscribing to channels because their videos were too long over 30 mins to 2 hrs. Got other things to do. I like watching your how to stuff. Got a truck camper almost 2 years ago did some mods on it and trying to sell it and get a pull behind. Too much work getting the "93" camper on my pickup by myself. Use my truck for painting and drywall full of tools .cheers Michael
Thanks for the feedback! I love having a truck camper but a pull behind gives you so much more room! And you can use the bed of your truck again! Thanks for the comment and watching Michael!
My favorite videos are where you are camping on your land. I love to see the progress and I get to live vicariously through them. 😊 I realize that they don't do well with views, but I am certainly a big fan of them.
Good to hear! Those are my favorite videos too! I'll keep doing land update vids or I might experiment with RU-vid shorts for land updates. We'll see. Thanks for commenting and watching!
Good to hear from you Brian. Sounds like you have been very busy. Congratulations on your coming child. Big brother will have someone to boss around now. Seems your video are looking more professional to me. I enjoy anything you put out, it is always informative and entertaining. Gods blessings to you and the family.
Thanks Bob! We are excited about the new little one and our son is excited to be a big brother! Lol, he does a lot of bossing around the dog right now, so I could definitely see him bossing around his sister. I appreciate the feedback and blessings! Thanks for watching!
I have definitely considered posting the sucky products too. If time allows, I may try to do those. I'm also trying to be a lot more selective on what products I do reviews on. I now do a lot more research on the products and companies before agreeing to do a video. Thanks for the feedback and watching!
Been awhile...that's an understatement 🤣 glad your back. I started building a camper last year, but some medical issues came up. So I bought a keystone hideout 174RK and spent Jan and Feb around lake Havasu.
Yeah, it's definitely been a while! Shoot, sorry to hear about your medical issues. Are things better? How is the Hideout working out for ya? Our Hideout is 14 years old and we've had it for 10 years, it's been a great camper!
@@ColoradoCamperman still going thru some testing. The 2022 hideout with a slide is great for my dog and me. Lived in it for 2 months... In May I'm heading for the Ozarks, then Iowa, buffalo NY and then Montana
@@huckleberrychris Well I hope everything turns out for you! This knee surgery was humbling. It made me realize I had been taking my health for granted and I need to step up my game on taking care of my body better. Great to hear the Hideout is working out! I would love a slide in our camper, that is one of the few things I would change. Sounds like you have a fun trip planned! I would love to do a big trip like that someday.
I kind of have mixed feelings when it comes to the youtube shorts. I do enjoy your camping videos, when you can post them of course. Its a bit of a throwback for me, from when my family also used to go spend time at our trailer as well. Above all, you look after yourself, and that knee.
I'm like you when it comes to RU-vid Shorts. If I post any, it may be on a quick camper repair or product. I might do land updates via shorts, but not sure. I appreciate the feedback on the camping videos. I definitely want to post them still. It seems like a lot of my long term, loyal subs like yourself enjoy them. I appreciate the comments and you continuing to watch!
Hey Brian! Great to see you back -- nice new video here and I look forward to many more. Main reason I'm commenting though is because I know you're a very dedicated runner and you mentioned your knee problems. I love getting aerobic exercise in the outdoors but I just hate running. I'm not a natural at it -- it makes me feel very awkward. So . . . for the last four plus decades I have gone insane amounts of miles riding a mountain bike. So many miles that if I did an equivalent amount of exercise running I would have worn out four sets of knees. But no ... my knee are fine. It's all that impact you runners do that causes the problems. Also, for the same amount of exercise the mountain cyclist will travel about 4 to 5 times as far as the runner, so more interesting scenery. Well, that's my unsolicited two cents worth anyway. Looking forward to more great videos. Thanks
Thank you! Glad to be back! Thank you for the comment about biking. I had to have surgery because I ton my meniscus. However, they discovered the inner part of my knee has a lot of wear on it. The outer part looks great. And although I tore my meniscus, I still have a good amount of pad and about 85% of it is intact. I asked the doc what I could do to prevent my knees from getting worse in the future and she recommended strengthening my quads/hamstrings/glutes/core and to start biking. So, it's good to hear about your experience mountain biking. I used to mountain bike in High School, I may just have to pick it up again! Thanks for the comment and watching!
Good point on the shorts. I will definitely try to incorporate some shorts. Ugh, sorry to hear about your knees, stinking knee pain! I'm hoping I'll be better after this surgery, at least for a while.... Thanks for the comment and watching!
Crazy but I was looking through my subs YESTERDAY and was like, what happened to Brian?! Well, you certainly have been busy, ha! Congrats on the new kiddo on the way. What's you opinion of the permanent house lights? Might be counter to your business but just curious. BTW, nice job on the basement, I know that was a TON of work. Glad your back!
Lol, it's weird how that works out! We have definitely been busy. It has been non-stop go, go, go. I'm looking forward to the camping season! Thanks for the congrats btw! How have things been going for you? Have you started camping yet? I have lots of opinions about the permanent house lights, lol! It has taken a bit of business away from me and more people are going to that every year. It's cool you can program the lights and you can change the lights for different holidays. But, if you have flat rooflines, it is harder to see the lights and they IMHO they don't look as good. I have considered offering them, and I may do that in the future. For now, I will stick to the C9 LEDs. Thanks for the kudos on the basement! It was a ton of work but we are so happy to have done it. We are better utilizing our whole house now. Before the basement was just a big open storage room. Now we have functional spaces and an extra bathroom. It was totally worth the late nights and little sleep! Glad to be back, thanks for the continued support!
@@ColoradoCamperman We have our first trip planned for Fruita coming up on the 6th. Ready for some warm weather for sure. I'm with you on the lights, I've always liked the look of the C9's myself. Just getting tired of the putting them up and taking them down every year. But I only do one house so I guess I don't have room to complain 🙂
@@graffix11us Nice! Glad to hear you have something scheduled. The first trip of the year is always exciting. I agree, I am ready for some warmer weather! C9's are definitely the best! Putting the lights up is usually not the problem because it is exciting. Taking down lights sucks, lol! Snow really drug out my season and I was taking down lights til the end of January. Usually I'm done taking lights down by mid January.
Boss, no RU-vid shorts. Keep the videos 10-15 minutes. Videos where we can learn how you camp and choose whether we want to incorporate that. Topic videos are good cause it presents a viewpoint where we can decide whether to do that or not.
