Agree, a bit tricky to assemble and I squeezed too hard in the wrong place and the beast drew blood from my thumb 💉🥴 Watch out for those pointy bits 🤣

Just to point out, but you don't ave to choose between the axe and the sword. Unlike in 40k, in AoS you can attack with every weapon the model has equipped. A chaos lord on foot, for example, can choos between using a sword and a spear and using a flail, so if you chose the first option, you'd attack with both the spear and sword, but not the flail.

Haven't assembled mine, but I look forward to painting it :)

Great review as always dude. I love that this mounted character comes in a Start Collecting box. I don't find most 40k SC box heroes as compelling (apart from Ahriman).

This guy is cool, you can turn him into a real beast with Chaos marks and artifacts. The new Slaves are really all about combos with Marks, traits, and specific abilities, which turn decent units into much deadlier ones.

Sometime with easy Build Pushfit models, it might be worth trimming the pegs a tiny bit down, as the glue that seeps into the peg sockets tends to prevent the pegs fully fitting into the socket thus leaving a little gap on the models. And to be fair, Primaris Space Marines are the same size as Sigmararines, sorry Stormcast.

I like your vids but you really need better lighting, especially for those lovely close ups :)

I love the model, shame the points cost and rules make no sense, he's far too expensive to bother taking, his axe has no rend for some strange reason (when it realistically should have better rend than the sword).

This is coming from an A.O.S player and not meant to knock you down as you are fairly new to it all. That command ability may be great sadly point wise they are over costed. Point wise there are other HQ choices from other facitions which do more or less the same. Other wise it is an amazing model and kinda of sad there isn't none hero mounted ones e.g. chaos knights on the mount or even just a unit of the mount. How ever great review and can not wait to see your force slowly build up
