I don't really get how you're calling Will a crybaby for not wanting his pregnant fiance in the field 😅. Look what literally happened with the explosion lol! Also the agents get shot at almost everyday and the stakes are much higher now that she's pregnant. It makes complete sense for him to want JJ to slow down 😂😂😂😂

To add to this, a pregnant agent could easily become a liability in the field, the other agents are going to be distracted trying to keep her safe and that puts everyone in danger

Wills feeling are 100% justified. JJ literally could’ve been blown up, then will would have a dead wife and a baby that was never born. Not saying he’s right, but will not wanting his wife and baby to fucking die is justified.

I might be a little late but it’s completely understandable Will wants JJ to take it slow. She is pregnant and her job is hella dangerous, putting both her life and their babies’ life on the line. This has nothing to do with her being a woman and him being a man. I haven’t finished the video yet so maybe you’ll get back to it, but just needed to put this out there 😅 really enjoying these reactions tho!

I mean he’s also putting his life on the line every day too and he’s the father but no one talks about that part… I get that it’s extra for her because she’s carrying the baby (extra person) but he’s still the father. People seem to not want to acknowledge mother and father are supposed to be equal partners and parents for the actual out of the womb baby. If they didn’t have almost the EXACT SAME type of physical job it would be different of course. But this is a common trope in shows (and it obviously happens in real life too, not that I’m in the middle of any 2 cops’ relationships).

@@allisoncastle oh I agree with that, I just mean I understand where he’s coming from as she is the one carrying the baby. If something happens to her, chances are something happens to the baby. That is just not the case for Will. Other than that I 100% agree.

A lot of the male unsubs had something done to them as well, usually as children. I still cry for Johnny McHale. As for Will and JJ, not wanting her to do this particular job while pregnant is understandable because while she is pregnant her life isn’t the only one being put in jeopardy. And her job was less dangerous when she first met Will because she mostly handled what cases they took, speaking to the families of victims and the media.

Great point about JJ’s initial job title as Press Liaison to transitioning to being in the field. Yep a lot of childhood trauma with these unsubs that carry into their adulthood unfortunately.

Will has every right and reason to be worried. She’s pregnant and female law enforcement are absolutely NOT supposed to be in the field. When they met, her job wasn’t in the field. Later in this very episode one of her coworkers literally gets blown up. Will is absolutely justified and it has nothing to do w/ misogyny. And w/ how dangerous her job is, no, she shouldn’t just tell Hotch she’s pregnant when she feels like it. She doesn’t have a safe job in a cushy office. She should have informed him immediately.

Actually, at this point, her job still isn't "in the field", any more than it was when she and Will met. She's still the "liaison" at this point, and not a profiler.

@@Bayougirl78 No, I know. But in these episodes she’s closer to danger than the average case and should have disclosed her pregnancy, at the very least, to Hotch.

Apart from the fact that the baby is also his and if they both want it he has a vested interest in keeping her and the baby safe, it's a matter of risk, while pregnancy is not a disease or disability, it can cause other medical conditions. You do not want her facing down an unsub and fainting because of the baby.

(I’m a girl but) I can’t lie I wouldn’t want my girlfriend to be pregnant in a police job. Like I get it if it’s something else but to risk herself and the baby idk about that. Whether the partner is a man or woman I’d understand their worry about her and the baby. Also I didn’t like Hotch that much in this episode. Morgan was right he was only thinking of the girl.
