I believe in this season, Spencer is 27. But everyone is older than him which is why Morgan always calls him kid lol. Also, Hotch usually always keeps his composure. Great reaction!
They have men and women unsubs, hell they've had children and teens as unsubs. This show handles variety very well. Also you are very VERY wrong when you say they can't let a main character die. They've done it a couple times actually.
The first episode I watched was S4 “Conflicted” because it featured my favourite actor Jackson Rathbone. But then I fell in love with Reid’s character and 9 years on and I have binge watched this show more times than I can count 😍🥰
this is the EXACT story of how I found criminal minds! The flashbacks to season 2 on “conflicted” got me curious to watch that other episode and the rest is history
They have women criminals too but, vastly men because, " Statistics have been consistent in reporting that men commit more criminal acts than women. Self-reported delinquent acts are also higher for men than for women, although lower than official data. "
I am a huge Criminal Minds fan (in spite of the fact that my husband and I once had a bad edibles episode where we ate too much and decided to watch Criminal Minds "to calm down" and I thought Shemar Moore was investigating a crime that occurred in Jurassic Park)- I was saving up your Criminal Minds reactions and decided today was the day! Loving what you have to say about these folks, excited now for the whole ride.
Great show. These guys are hero’s. I was really scared Reid was not going to make it. Love him and Matthew. People say Matthew is one of the sweetest people. Great actor he is too
10:11 lol Karen shmaren If I saw a guy in a full hazmat suit across the street you bet your ass I'd be asking questions too! Seem's reasonable to me to be like "Hey, quick question, are we going to die?" lol Like sure, regular police stuff mind your own business, I see a Hazmat suit... answer my damn questions lol.
I am so hyped by this series omg thank you I've been wanting this for awhile 14:21 you are valid. I thought the same when I first saw this I rewatch alot and this is one of them so yup!
Happy watching. 🔥✨ Plenty of Criminal Minds videos on the channel and patreon. I decide to start watching from the beginning half way through the list, you’ll see!
AAAAAH! I love this show!!!!! And pretty sure SVU came out first. But yes ok I LOVE LOVE LOVE Reid! Him and Garcia are my favorite! So happy to see you watching this show!!!!!!
please react "The uncanny Valley" episode it's in season 5 and it's a very dark episode but it's directed by Mathew Gray Gubler, the actor that portrays Spencer Reid
Uncanny Valley is a great episode to introduce someone to the show, but it also works on a more subtle level for longtime fans of the show. On the surface, it’s an excellent encapsulation of a good plot, unsub, and victim(s). But, at its heart, it explores everything that we know about Reid, from his mentor issues with Gideon (the chess), his father issues (that final quote from Asimov, Mr. Reid’s favorite author), his mother issues (protective outrage over the exploitation of the mentally ill), his intelligence (completely shredding the unsub’s father through sheer smarts), and ultimately his utter decency as a human being (his gentleness with the unsub). Btw, it wasn’t directed by MGG-he directed an episode from a bit later in the season, the one with the kidnapped children. Reid isn’t in that ep for too much because of him needing to be behind the camera.
This is a year late but mostly the bad guys are male, but not always. Female serial killers are sort of rare, not unheard of but not as common as men. Plus women tend to murder with poison over something messy.
In my opinion poisonings just don't make for interesting stories (not including biological weapons). With a gun or knife there is a clear and immediate threat and it's true that most female attackers would be quickly subdued by any male victim if that was the only danger. Most women simply don't have the physical strength to be able to confidently hold another woman or a man down, unless they are already drugged/incapacitated. For anyone (else) who finds this comment offensive please note I said 'most', not 'all'. This statement is based on physical strength alone and not skill, experience or training in self-defence/fighting techniques. (This is also not a sexist comment, I am female and am aware of the physical limitations of my sex.)
