Have you ever had a dream that you, um, you had, your, you- you could, you’ll do, you- you wants, you, you could do so, you- you’ll do, you could- you, you want, you want them to do you so much you could do anything?
If Christians all get togeather to get enough belief in one place they'll warp reality with the sheer dumb power of their beliefs like Warhammer 40k Orks, and honestly I *want* that to happen
They kind of already have. Certainly Spanish colonialism of the Americas was justified by religion. Although I guess that was more greed and cruelty and dumb power as we have now.
The Benham Brothers reveal at the end just keeps me coming back to listen to this lol. Will never go near the movie to watch firsthand, I just need to hear these guys dissociate while describing it
Kevin Sorbo as Hercules being the cause of my bisexual awakening and first male crush turning out to be aggressively not-gay really sums up my entire experience with same sex relationships
At least Lucy Lawless is super based... My head canon is that Sorbo is aggressively against everything she stands for ever since her made-up Xena character eclipsed Hercules during its run and Lawless went on to have a much more successful TV career.
Christman needs to write that book about American Protestantism being entirely its own thing lol. I even tried to devils advocate against myself and wonder if that was just a fallacy of american exceptionalism filtered through a nominally "leftist" or "anti-imperialist" bias but I still think I agree with the thesis and would love to see someone as smart as Matt commit it to paper and the historical record 😂.bless up, Crisp Man, the world needs ya big guy ❤
@@berdyderg900 I still watch Majority Report for the occasional gem, but have moved over more into Left Reckoning. They seem to be getting their voice.
David and his wife, Lori, have five children; Jason and his wife, Tori, have four children. They also invented a for profit christian mission model they call 'missioneering', its an outsourcing agency.
I really need to finally watch this if only to see those unheimlich humanoid abomination archon twins in the flesh (or however they manifest in our reality) for myself.
I appreciate them for watching these movies so I don't have too. I wanted to watch this movie because I knew it was going to be terrible but hilarious.
the thing to remember about christians is: they believe god is communicating directly to them through a thick book about a man from nazareth who lived 2000 years ago... so good luck if you are hoping for intelligence... to be fair, i do like the Dostoevsky character Alyosha Karamazov as the great author behind the great character is a real genius and if he wants to argue in favor of christ i will listen... fax!!!
What y'all don't understand is Paul Munger is the christian Paul Verhoeven and this is his Starship Troopers of christian films. The satire has clearly gone over your heads and you've unironically taken it seriously.
This is a Fundamentalist Christian movie. I don't think the local Episcopal Church with the Rainbow Flag and BLM sign would sponsor this movie. You guys ALWAYS get this stuff wrong.
