I think this is the only main story chapter where I have a turnsave over Fate's run, thanks to the power of the well. Credit to Ninpo for this clear.
We are joined by Mr. Bunet and his two strange friends. Alear can trade Fogado some useful items, and place an Obstruct to Canter back to position.
With the engraved Longbow and the engraved Hand Axe forged up to Tomahawk +2, Fogado and Bunet are able to combine to take down the Warrior at acceptable hitrates.
Pandreo is eager to tell us about his Warp staff, and we put it to use immediately. The Martial Monk in the northwest corner is the most out-of-the-way enemy, so we need all of Warp, Canter and Advance to have Amber enter its attack range.
I was surprised that this clear works without giving Amber the Seraph Robe, as Amber remains in the Warrior's range and is OHKOed by the Steel Bow (Amber needs to have 15 or less Defense for the Martial Monk to attack him), and doesn't have enough HP. So we are lucky that the Warrior attacks Bunet for some reason. Bunet DOES take more expected damage than Amber thanks to Amber's avoid, but I wouldn't think the AI would pass up a kill opportunity.
Kagetsu is the only unit I have good enough to take out the Swordmaster and Wolf Knight at 2-range, after reclassing to Sniper and gaining a stack of Speedtaker. He needs to Astra Storm that Axe Fighter, as that enemy only goes after the Villagers and will not initiate attacks against my units.
Chloé can KO the Sword Fighter with either Représailles +1 and Speed +2 inherited, or Fensalir +2 and Speed +1 inherited.
New units:
Fogado: Fogado has some notoriety for OHKOing enemy Flying units, but the number of threatening Fliers we face is very small and Fogado's damage output against other enemy types is very lacking. He will not see much use this playthrough.
Pandreo: Pandreo has some of the highest Magic and Speed stats in the game. I planned on investing into Ivy and am not keen on running multiple magical attackers, so he will not see much combat this playthrough. He will see some extensive use in Solm due to his staff talent, which lets him be one of the few units in the game that can use Warp and Rescue in 6-move classes, as well as Griffin Knight just being a class that not many units can get into at this point of the game due to no available emblem giving staff proficiency.
Bunet: Bunet starts in a 6-move class with good defense and access to weapons with high might, so he'll pop up every now and then in some minor roles.
Chloé: 11/2 Griffin Knight. Strength Tonic.
Citrinne: 11/2 Mage Knight.
Amber: 11/3/2 Wolf Knight/Wyvern Knight. Strength Tonic.
Vander: 1/1 Wyvern Knight. Strength Tonic.
Kagetsu: 1/1 Sniper. Seraph Robe, 2 Energy Drop, Dracoshield, Dexterity Tonic.
Ivy: 17/1 Lindwurm. Spirit Dust.
