Amber has finally been liberated from Sniper duty. I've done this paralogue a bit late, and most of my investment targets don't earn great exp from it. I'd like Amber to gain at least a couple more Strength levels for an upcoming map, so he'll be my Mercurius user here.
Sigurd starts very far away from us, but we can use a similar trick to what we did in Leif paralogue to Rescue a grounded unit to the other side of the water, after Panette Astra Storms an enemy that would disrupt my formation.
Sigurd is immune to Dreadful Aura, and like Zephia in C17 he will Override if he's able to hit at least two units. So I set it up that he can't do that, and use avoid engraves and Shielding Art so that his best target is Amber on enemy phase.
Completing Sigurd's paralogue unlocks Canter+, which is an interesting skill that I only use a couple of times in this playthrough but has scope to be used more often. It also unlocks Momentum+, which could potentially get an extra couple of attack for the Sigurd user.
