For a speedrun of my modern FNAF theories: • FNAF Story Speedrun + ...
The 2nd Chapter of my complete FNAF theory model.
Now that we know what the Afton family is up to, it's time to figure out who's a member of the family, build the family tree, and see what conflicts there are between the characters.
Highlights: Proving Sammy and Charlies are in the games, finding their mother, uncovering the true name of Jeremy Fitzgerald, and revealing the identify of Phone Guy.

This is probably my favorite interpretation of FNAF lore. It feels like every pixel of each game has been combed through and considered when crafting it.

A surprise to be sure but a welcome one. Love the Metroidvania analogy. It's something I think even Scott acknowledges given the game design of Freddy in Space 2 almost pays homage to it in the sense that you have to backtrack to past levels with the characters you've unlocked to get to previously inaccessible locations on a level. A very appropriate metaphor for the lore.

I honestly love your fnaf theories. They're so outside of the box that even though they may be a little far-fetched sometimes, they're an interesting and unique approach to the fnaf story which allows the audience to interpret the story in a new lens

I think your theories are interesting, they're really good thought excercises, but holy hell I think there's a reason many people wouldn't believe them, including myself, because they are so damn complicated. Also you can take some really big logical leaps, which for a fnaf theory is really saying something.

I think logical leaps are the only way to solve FNAF... I’ve spent 5 years looking for a pattern that fits with all the lore, and this model is what survived. I tried countless things first. I understand that it’s complicated. But I think FNAF has been an incredibly intricate mystery from the start, and people are only recently starting to realize this.

I've never actually had much of a desire to play the original FnaF games myself (1-6), but your theories and the way the tightly interlock kinda makes me want to now, just to see the small pieces in action

Go for it! I used to be deathly afraid of FNAF 1-4, but after experimenting with FNAF 2, dying over and over, it’s easier to focus on the fine details.

@@FloetryFox88 We all have rights to come up with theory ideas. There are thousands of theorists out there working on FNAF. I do think though, that if the Game Theorists were able to look past MatPat's still-inexplicable crusade against 8BitGaming's "Pink Guy" theory that the Take Cake Killer was someone other than William... they would find amazing story potential down the revealed route. But that would require disagreeing with MatPat. It's all about priorities.

I did reapply to see if I could get my ban from the Game Theorist's discord lifted about two months ago. One of the mods even asked me if I would. But I never got any reply back that my apology had been accepted.

Now I found something interesting while watching this video. When you talk about the Save Them Massacre and Bite of 87 I realized "The Toy Animatronics will be scrapped" I know the employees are Afton's but William might be wanted to get bodies back, and took the Fritz Smith name for getting the bodies back later Save Them minigame happened. The animatronics aren't active because William tampered with them in Custom Night. This might not be true but i wish you look at it.

What's your opinion on the idea that FNAF 4's gameplay takes place at the same time as FNAF 1's? I think it's solid considering Mike describes Nightmare Fredbear as a recent dream in the Security Logbook, which has FNAF 1 characters on it, and the reversed Phone Guy call that can sometimes play in FNAF 4. Perhaps Mike canonically encountered Golden Freddy in Night 4 of FNAF 1's gameplay, and that's why he dreams of Fredbear on FNAF 4's night 5

The FNAF 1 Night 1 call is a background sound in FNAF 4, so that’s a good benchmark for the minimum year. However, FNAF 4 shows the bite victim actually dying… something that would happen after FNAF 1. Spring Bonnie was just “Spring Bonnie” before William got trapped inside, creating Springtrap… yet “Plushtrap” is already a thing in FNAF 4. Both from the minigame, and the green Spring Bonnie Sammy is carrying. That happened right after the FNAF 1 robots were scrapped. So I put FNAF 4 after Springtrap’s creation.

@@dianahessman2353 If it's a scan from Springtrap, it would be a fusion of RWQ and William. He does seem to turn both green and purple while spectral in the first game, before becoming solid gold.

@@dianahessman2353 RWQ is Sammy. But I think purple shadow Bonnie from Glitch was actually William, and Samny was the dark child guarding his prison . I don’t think Happiest Day happened in the Help Wanted timeline. The fire only happens in FNAF 3 if you don’t complete Happiest Day

If I may ask, was the Phone Dude from FNAF 3 just a guy who chose his fright attraction theme rather poorly?

Ask anything you like! I'll try to come up with a satisfactory answer. Phone Dude himself is still something of a grey area in my models. He treats our avatar as a peer, another teen, which is one of the reason I think Michael Afton must be an android, because I'm convinced he's our FNAF 3 protagonist, and is over 50 at that point in time. He also lets us know that someone else--who claimed to have helped design one of the buildings--gave him the tip about the secret room. I think it's very likely that was Henry, as several incarnations ago, this building was Fredbear's. But is Phone Dude himself important beyond a vehicle for exposition? I don't have a firm opinion about that yet.

@@BlackfootFerret Next Question: In Help Wanted, you play as a Beta Tester who is involved in the testing of a game to rework Fazbear Entertainment's image. However, someone gave the Developers the Cursed Circuit Boards from Freddys. Any idea who that could be?

@@llewelynshingler2173 I'm less well-read on the new games than the old ones. But once Fazbear Entertainment detected the virus, the emails from FNAF AR say they wanted the project shut down. I don't think the virus itself is something Fazbear Entertainment did deliberately. It does seem like Jeremy is trying to help Glitchtrap. Who's at least 50% his father William from my own theories, although RWQ was mixed up in there two, making "Glitchtrap" a conflicted entity, just like Shadow/Golden Freddy was. I think some member of the Afton family planted the boards. Vanny seems to be an unwilling helper, though. Or perhaps.. she thought she was bringing back William, but didn't know William had a malevolent ghost riding him at the time. There are a lot of possibilities.

@@BlackfootFerret ok phone guy it's clear that there must be someone from the afton or emily family now there are 2 options 1 is the older brother 2 henry but now it comes against theory how henry could be phone guy if phone guy died on the night of 4 of fnaf 1 times somehow he faked death and somehow escaped now comes the first option with the brother in the foxy mask now there is the possibility of being a phone guy like his phone guy he likes foxy and he still likes foxy his older brother but here comes a problem that afton's family is british and phone guy doesn't have british accent

@@andreil3027 I think Phone Guy was Henry Prime back in 1972. But since then, he age-upgraded into his adult form, Adult Henry, and took Fredbear for his avatar instead of Foxy. When we meet him, Phone Guy is an out-grown version of Henry. That's why he has trouble remembering things, a lot of his remnant was drained during the upgrade. I also think Phone Guy is the UCN protagonist. And many characters remark on how unnaturally small we are, and how we fit into their mouths. It's a bit like Baby Voldemort at the end of Harry Potter: He's tiny because he's only a fraction of who he used to be.

I have a question. Is Sister Location a seperate universe from original series I mean 1-4, some people keep sayinf this I don’t get it can you explain?

I've revised my vision of what "The Retcon" was from the first edition of the script. Now I think Scott just added the word "Place" to the name of the original 1972 restaurant, seen in FNAF 6 "Freddy Fazbear's Pizza PLACE". So, that really did have a minimal impact on the story. And Sister Location is definitely still part of the same universe as FNAF 1-4. However, I think the Sister Location timeline is a world where Happiest Day did not happen, since we only encounter the Fire in FNAF 3 if Happiest Day doesn't happen. So, a dark timeline perhaps. But still part of the same story.

Well, if Charlie is in the story, Henry's her father. And Charlie also seems to be William's granddaughter, the Puppet loves to listen to "My Grandfather's Clock". So, if the Puppet has a Grandfather, they'd have to be Henry's father.
