@@coffeeblogger7441 too bad they make customers pay for shipping on warrantied items. I knew this going into the purchase, though. But it's a kick in the *$$ because my igniter only lasted 4 months. And I kept mine covered and out of the elements too. Weber, why did I doubt you? lol
Atleast you got a video showing you how to do it. You should spend more time fixing your bbq instead of talking trash on RU-vid. Maybe then you would have a working bbq. Carlos..
Does there exist a device where you can attach your phone/camera to your head. like a headband? Then you can use both hands and you wont miss so much of the video.
Ours came without a battery and, of course, the manual mades no immediate reference to it but I could tell by unscrewing the button that it looked empty in there. You supplied the missing piece! Engagement as thanks and, what the heck, going to watch the video to the end even though I was able to fix after 56 seconds.
Just a heads up. I purchased my char broil tru infrared grill and the grates flaked off in about a year. THEY DID NOT WARRANTY ANYTHING ON MY GRILL BECAUSE I PURCHASED IT AT LARGE DISCOUNT. Apparently if you get a clearance grill and the parts cost more than grill THEY WILL NOT WARRANTY. Take it for what it is.
I bought mine directly from Lowe's so the warranty was definitely there...not to sure how they verify warranties at discount places...only thing I can think of is maybe the model has a certain production date
Had my two burner grill for a year love it. The sparkler worked once. Lights will come checked the battery and put a new in and the lights work but that sparked will not click. Help Paula. TY
Have the same exact grill but 4 burners and bought in 2019. Dealt directly with Charbroil but my igniter was not under warranty maybe you were within one year not sure.
