Thank you! Your my first Super! So I want to give you a 1 on 1 meeting. You can use it whenever you want. Email me and we'll set up a time. I'll give feedback or answer any questions you may have.
@@alexonstory Thank you Alex. I will. It is a small encouragement for all the work you do. Most people would give snippets of information then point you to their paid course and that's one way of doing it. The fact that you do 1h of clear instructions and put it here for free is really appreciated. My suggestion when you get time is to think about a similar 4 course series with a humanoid rig. Also use a youtube Poll to gauge if the majority of subscribers do agree. Cheers.
You definitly my favorite animation teacher. you explained things so well that is seems almost easy to do animation. Thank you for putting all that tings for free. it would be so good it we could give you back.
Dear Alex Sir, please make video on facial rigging And character rigging . So many of you suscriber wants this . I hope you would upload very soon. I watched you video first time and I am amazed with it. I claim that many of your viewers want a tutorial . all of us would be thankful to you great and kind work.
Thank you for your suggestion! Yes your right there have been others asking me about making some rigging tutorials. I'll work towards it. I am not a pro rigger so I do hesitate to put things out there on that topic.
Just try it! I'm also not really pro at rigging but have about 2 years of experience at rigging in blender. You can ask me anytime. If get stucked I really like to assist 🤗
Great tutorial! I would like to see intermediate and advanced lessons in the near future. And more complex characters with more complex rigs, especially humans (it would be especially great if the characters were not cartoonish, but close to realism)
Thank you for your Super Chat! Happy to share and put things out there. Is there anything specific you want to see demonstrated? I'm working on a video/series on how we go about using reference in our work. Should be up in a week or so. If you have a test you want to share feel free to send it my way!
@@alexonstoryHey, thanks, but I don't want you to feel like you need to compensate us for the donations. You're already doing God's work for animation enthusiasts, and I'm sure you have plenty of good ideas up your sleeve
Sounds good :) In the early days I feel like I can connect that way. But yes I hear you! I'm working on a new video all about reference. How we incorporate it into your work. I have some talented people sharing their approach to the subject that will make it into the video.
Hello Sir, I am getting a problem. My blender is not showing skeleton panel under armature panel. Whenever I add a armature , there is no option appearing of layers in my blender. Please help me out
𝐔𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐁𝐥𝐞𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐫 𝟒.𝟎 𝐨𝐫 𝐡𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐞𝐫? 𝐂𝐥𝐨𝐮𝐝𝐑𝐢𝐠 𝐋𝐚𝐲𝐞𝐫𝐬 𝐧𝐨 𝐥𝐨𝐧𝐠𝐞𝐫 𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐤𝐬. You now have the ability to toggle the visibility of layers in the Bone Collections section within the Data Properties. On the upper right side of the Bone Collection window, there is an option to create your own collection by clicking on the Plus icon. You have the ability to choose controls from various groups and add them to your newly created collection by clicking the Assign button located at the bottom of the window. Once you have finished, you can click on the star icon next to your new Collection to display only the items you desire. Hope that helps!
hello alex as 1.5 years of 3d design as modeling and 3d ads , but pretty beginner in terms of character animation , i would like to say just keep up the good work , you are a good and pretty details , i think we can learn a lot from you , i would love to see more details in terms of graph editor to be honest as they say it can really helps the smoothness of animation like pixar etc... thats might not be that important but u earned a new sub , keep it up , best regard
Thank you for your comment! It's great you have some 3D experience and are looking to add animation to your skill set. Great suggestion, yes will make a video focusing specifically on the graph editor and working with the keys and curves.
Great tutorial! :) I would like to know why you do blocking in spline mode? Many other animators do very detailed blocking in step mode, adding keyframes and breakdowns. I'm curious to know why you do it this way and what is the difference between these approaches?
Hey man! Love the Content, you are the reason why i keep going with animation man... I mean im still a beginner, but i learned so much from you! Could you maybe do an Fighting animation tutorial? That would mean everything to me! Keep going!
Thanks for your comment! Really happy to hear your staying with it and learning and that I am helping. Yes for sure! I'll do a fighting scene sometime soon.
Make sure your learning basics well. Complex animations will come by layering simple ideas. So 3 simple animations ideas already starts to make a more complex animation. Baby steps, you got this!
This is such a fantastic video! I've just started trying to make my own simple character rig like this one, and I was wondering how can I get curved eyelids like in the thumbnail? Playing around with shaders gets pretty confusing 😅Thanks so much for the awesome tutorial!
Hello, i just want to start to thank you for this series, i also want to ask you how far u will go with it and if u had a discord channel so we can share our animation with other people who are following the series. Have a great day.
Thanks for the question! I don't have discord as I think I won't have that much time to be up to date with posts/questions. But will think more about it.
sir a simple request to you if you can teach us fundamentals of rigging so that we dont need to download any rig instead we can be able to create not just a ball rig but of all the items we want use in animation. it would be very helpful for us if you can thank you in advance . you are doing great
also make a tutorial on how to combine character animations, for example, like when a character walks in, stops to say something, and then starts walking again.
Hello sir need your help My age is 38 yrs but still wants to learn 3d animation software like blender Is it ok for me to learn at this age and 2nd thing what will be the system configuration recruitment for this software Plz need your suggestion
Hey! Yes of course you can learn! Give yourself the time to learn the basics of Animation and Blender. All new things are challenging at first. However, bit by bit you'll start to feel more comfortable and confident. I know you can do it! Hopefully as you get better you'll start to create and present things the way you want. I linked Blenders documentation on system requirements for you: www.blender.org/download/requirements/
Thank you soo much sir. While watching your videos I feel that I can learn very quickly the way you teach it's great plz continue this work and make us artist like Once again thank you soo much for boosting me up brother ❤
I'm happy to hear that! You got this! Maybe a good goal is to do 1 simple animation test a week. In the beginning it doesn't matter so much how the animations look. Getting used to the tools and ideas is what's important.
Dear Alex sir!!I am a game animator and facing a lot of problems in graph editor .I have to round model three times at 180 angle but it start weirdly movement on rounds 😢
I'll make a video in a bit on the graph editor. It's sounds like your getting gimbaling issues. Easiest thing to do is use another control to rotate on the Y axis. If you have another free control that'll help you out. Another thing you can try is keying your turns in smaller increments. And when you get to the problem frames you can key it over a hand full of frames. If your in Blender having your rotation set to XYZ Euler often helps. Hope that helps!
I watched a number of other youtube videos and mashed together a bunch of ideas. The mouth is an image plane with the bone/control as the driver. Eyes are geometry with a boolean modifier. The geo is wrapped around the sphere and follows the squash and stretch of the rig. I'd have to dive back into the rig to remember specifics but that's the general steps.
I really need this ball rig but downloading it is a problem, I follow the link but when I press that I want this nothing happens, anyone to help please, I`ll appreciate 🙏🙏🙏
Hey! Just above the "I want this" button there's a text box where you need to enter a value. Since Alex made the rig free, you can simply put "0" in the text box and it should work :)
