Animator, Layout Supervisor, Senior Camera artist at PlayStation and Short Film Winner. Welcome to my channel! I teach people to animate and visually tell a story. Lets learn together!
Some of the stuff in Sonic Prime is quite impressive for a 3D animated TV show, hope you and the rest of the Prime team get to work on something else Sonic related because I really do enjoy some of the ideas, characters, and action in the show despite some of its issues. (Oh,and also, so the fantastic voice cast gets to play these characters one more time.)
Can you maybe make a tutorial for personality walk cycle? It is really hard for me to getting the personality in. Or maybe just some tips or something. I really need help with that. 😅 PS: Your Videos are amazing.
I am learning blender from 3 months on RU-vid. You are the best instructor and has videos on great topic. You are the best! Can you also guide us on how to create cartoon? Do not tell about modeling and rigging and designing environment. We need to learn how 3 cartoon characters in same frame talk with each other, how they sit in car, how they open door with hands? I will glad if you can guide us. Once again you are best on RU-vid.
This is amazing thank u, i know nothing about animation but this is a very simple tutorial to follow so im learning bunches of things. Thanks for doing this tutorial.
Mr. alex ,sorry but I have question . Is it useful to watch reference videos while you are animating ? And is it helpful to capture some shots from your self and using it as a guide ?
The weird thing I copied the X location to X eule rotation of the ball's rotation rig and it didn't work then I tried to copy Z location to X euler rotation it worked what's the damn reason
Did you really create this animation while recording that video? I would spend days planning the animation, would have tons of errors and you created it in just one hour? On the first try? I can't believe it! Or I misunderstood something and you did off-the-camera trials and errors with this animation first?
I have a potato computer that cannot support blender 4.0 and the rig is for this version, I would love to follow through with alex... is it possible to get the ball rig for 3.6 please
Great tutorial! :) I would like to know why you do blocking in spline mode? Many other animators do very detailed blocking in step mode, adding keyframes and breakdowns. I'm curious to know why you do it this way and what is the difference between these approaches?
That sucks! Yeah car action and jumps can be hard for sure. I looked at Rig a Car addon a year ago and didn't really like it. I just make my own car rigs with curve controls. The big thing when doing vehicle animation is to decide if your going to use a path and constrain your car to it or not. Most times I do not use a path. Using a path may make things easier at the start, but I think it'll make it harder to add detail deviating away from the path. In the case of a jump I would say it depends on the action of the jump. If you can break your animation into a few shots that always helps. Hope that helps!
@@alexonstory Thanks for in depth insights. Using paths is creating a lot of trouble for me as I don't have control over how the car will behave to terrain surface. Your car rigging method using empty objects is great. How can I add a ground sensor that can be key able for the jump to that Rig??? Please add a follow up guide thanks.
Hey! I do go over creating tow empty controls and parenting the camera to the controls. I like to select the child then the parent (the control driving the action) right click and parent - object. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-DAYTwIDwfi8.htmlsi=tbC1FZ3yRq4-yFWP&t=214 Hope that helps!
