Look at those candles and stuff on the table. Baizhu spent several hours to find the solution... That person came in the middle of the night, when it was dark already and Baizhu had his hair down to go to sleep. And this honourable doctor was working till the dawn to help. I feel such a great respect for this man.

So Baizhu was the one who helped Anthony and Anna in Mondstadt, Baizhu is a great doctor who was able to help Anna be healthy again and eventually become an adventurer. I really like Baizhu because of his personality and design so I really hope I can get him. Good Luck to Everyone in Their Pulls!

For those new comers, this teaser is based on the Anthony and Anna Daily comms that you can get after a while. It's a series of you collecting for Anthony the item "Dendro-processed Berry", helping Anna do her daily comms (ye it's kinda weird) and ends off with you meeting Fischl and Bennett finding a bunch of treasure hoarders. Edit: it appears a lot of people haven't actl met fischl and Bennett in the series of the quest. I actl took like 20 different days. You need to constantly help Anna do her transport balloon commission and one day after you are done treasure hoarders are spotted and you have to fight them. That's when the quest chains end with Benny and Fischl appearing.

As a vet with clients who usually cannot afford medications, I can relate to this on a spiritual level. I would often change the prescriptions and remedies so that they could afford to treat their pets 😭

As a pharmacy student, this spoke to me. We're always told to find ways to make it more convenient for patients to take the medicine, not only does it lessens the burden on them, it also increase patient compliance with the dosage regimen making it easier for them to recover. I love seeing that practice be included in this teaser. It shows just how much he cares for his patients but also how he's professional and is willing to put in the work to fulfill his duties.

Baizhu is so kind and understanding, I hope his desires won't blind him... ALSO THE WAY HE PUT THE PIN IN HIS HAIR

Seeing all the pharmacy students here is so wholesome, Baizhu's teaser really is touching. You can see that he's both professional and caring, willing to do what it takes to ensure a patient's recovery.

Baizhu looks so good with hair down and the way he put his hair up with his pin is so elegant. The music in the background and the one inside Bubu Pharmacy are so beautifully calming.

The subtle detail of his eyes going red for a second when he mentions Changsheng's venom is amazing. I have literally everything (except for the weekly boss items) prepared for him to be released and i have never been more excited for a character to be added 😌

What a call back to one of the commissions we did for Anthony to save Anna. Look how far we've come. I still remember when I used to get so sad watching Anna suffer and Anthony in the fountain. It was all thanks to Baizhu that now she is all better. Man this is so nostalgic. We've known him for so long and he is finally playable and get to learn more about him.

I just got "Anna's Adventure" achievement few days ago. So Baizhu is the one helping for her recovery, such a great person. I hope Anna get bunch of Mora to makes her brother's dreams to travel across Teyvat happen and pay a visit at Bubu's Pharmacy to meet this Great Doctor.

In the original Chinese teaser, Baizhu's new medication formula actually says 'berries swallowed by a dendro slime' rather than 'dendro processed berries', which makes it a lot more peculiar lmaoo

I love his vibe. He is so kind and calm, his voice sounds so smooth. At the same time it feels like he is a good professionalist who tries to help people as much as he can. I like such characters very much

Its great that Hoyoverse decided to put the behind the scenes help of Baizhu during Anna's illness. It is because of that that Anna is now an adventurer with the task of escorting transport balloons. She really underwent a massive change from when she was so sick to the point where she can be found on top of tall places. It is indeed one of the heartwarming moments in Genshin.

I'm obsessed with how expressive Baizhu is here, subtle movements, the tapping of his brush to think up a new solution especially got me. Amazing stuff here. And the little coil fron Chansheng at the beginning was a delight

Baizhu is such a gorgeous character and the first look for him with his hair down is absolutely a stunning look! It's nice to see Anna and Anthony be mentioned here as well. Those commissions had a story to it that I feel like people needed to see. Anna being sick and Anthony taking money from the fountain to support her. It's nice it's tied together with Baizhu being the "master physician" that Anthony talks about after Anna is cured. I think It's nice to see progression and character growth that come from Daily Commissions, you don't think nothing much of it at first, but once you realize that it had it's own story that we get to experience over time, especially when you experience it from the beginning of Genshin, it just makes you feel good.

That also explains that commission with Anthony. But. I'm glad his sister is doing well, just seeing her grow experience as an adventurer makes my heart grow. I will pull for this man! I am a big fan of exploring characters and lore, and I love that that Holoverse has fun doing so--I can see how much passion they have for this world they've created. Whatmore, I love love LOVE this animation style of making still illustrations move like this - I don't know what this style is called, but I just am infatuated with it. THREE years and he's finally out of his holding cell - I can't even contain my excitement anymore LMAO Years of just finding him in events, relishing two second appearances in cutscenes.. and he's finally here, it feels like a fever dream LMAO From only having crumbs of lore we had to put together from Qiqi and Hu Tao, to then the rest of the Liyue citizens to the little tattles and banter he and His Tao had on the public boards to full fledged knowing he is the reason Anne and Anthony are doing well now... (To clarify also - Anthony told us he went to get his prescription from a man in Liyue... Of course it was Baizhu and we knew this BUT it's really nice to sorta... Have it confirmed 100%!) It's nice to sorta see that, ya know? He's been described as a doctor renowned all across teyvat people come to see from far and wide! So the fact he HAS now CANONICALLY assisted, well, far and wide.. 11/10, not that I doubted idle chatter from npcs in game but ya know- I will hype up my king always and forever like the sanest genshin fan I am My man is gorgeous, stunning, majestic, glorious, incredible, jaw opening--

God I want to cry; Baizhu is an absolute angel and that keeps being reaffirmed time and time again, I absolutely hate that there are so many people in the fandom who could ever consider him to be anything less than the kindest, purest, most caring soul in Teyvat. 😭😭😭 He’s sick himself, he suffers in silence, and yet he’ll willingly stay up all night just to come up with a more unconventional cure his patients can afford, even if it means he gets less money for it and exhausts himself even more, because he truly is THAT selfless. 😭🥺💔💚 He has a heart of gold, and my own heart aches for him…. but he’s truly such a comfort character for me, from one disabled person to another. I really enjoy the continuity Baizhu has with some of the npcs. It highlights his personality as character in a way tht shows while his remedies are adaptable to the situation, there’s also a subtle sense of cheekiness about him. I enjoy tht so much.

To finally be able to play as him after just consuming crumbs of content in events or other’s story missions is very exciting! I'm interested in pulling for Baizhu from a gameplay perspective, but I might wait till reviewers do it. He's interesting to me as he is a shielder and a healer as well. Not many characters are like that besides Diona, Noelle, and C4 Yanfei with Prototype Amber.

Come and think of it, I, as someone who played since version 1.0, starting from seeing him gathering money from the fountain in Mondstadt, received commissions from Anthony, helping him to gather materials for Anna's medicine, finding Anna's whereabouts in Mondstadt after her recovery, all the way until Anna successfully became an adventurer... It was a wonderful journey.
