For us 1.1 players, it's gotta be scaramouche. We were adventuring with Scaramouche, solving problems with him and even exchanging information, he was chill like Chongyun back then. When it was revealed he was a harbinger, it was absolute betrayal. Just the thought if Mona was one second late is terrifying....

It even has epic music to it, meanwhile look at every other one. In Scara's cutscene the text even overlaps with his eyes, its very ugly. The only misstep they made with Dottore is cutting away too early from his intro, and it doesn't match with the music. The introductions of the Harbingers should be great reveals, and except one all of them are lackluster. I mean Childe's would have been great, but at that point we already know who he was, so its not an introduction anymore

Especially with that choir going off so hard in the bg, that's peak harbinger intro easily but if i had to guess out of all the harbingers the best definitely will be either Columbina, Capitano or Pierro.

Just opinions on the other harbingers here. Signoras is very good, after a very standard tale of helping the dragon & completing things pretty effortlessly for the Traveler her sudden juxtaposition of showing up Traveler & Venti in power is very good. And her blantant distaste for one of gods serves well after personally colluding with Venti the whole time.

Scaramouche is personally the weakest & tbh serves to just make Mona seem cooler for seeing through him. Nothing here strikes me much sorry Scara

Dottores is great and works with the sorta expectations people have been building in their heads. You are a little confused & maybe unnerved by all these peoples cheering. Then he comes in and presents himself. Even Nahida is nervous. There are innocent bystanders, all you can do is get outta there.

The idea of Arrlecchinos is great. The presentation is very lackluster. The VA does a very good job of making her words very casual yet. Menacing in a way. After Dottore we are very on guard against new harbingers we meet. And she is very genial. It’s new. Not coming into to save us or even insulting us. A simple “tea party”. They just totally phoned it in on giving her memorable visuals to accompany her. Hoping her release will give her a better harbinger name card scene

That's how good she is. The fact that she managed to steal the show without her first appearance being a cutscene, makes it so much more impressive. Sure, I completely agree that if it was a cutscene it would be better, but she didn't need it at all to be one of the highlights of the quest.

You're both right and wrong. But when comparing the Archon Quest one with Arlecchino's, you have to agree that her's is better.

Believe it or not. Thats what makes her fairly scary. We haven't seen how wicked and corrupted she is because she is hiding that from us. She acted orderly and professional in front of the hydro archon and hydro dragon but even then, her presence made me feel scared for them. I was expecting her to transform into something demonic during the tea.
