logan thought calliban was dead meanwhile calliban is captive in van ready to be rescued many times and then ends up sacrificing for those whom gives zero fucks bout him.....
Donald Pierce said he left him and he was same ditch he was going to get left in. This wasn't true as they captured him and used him. Logan took what Donald said as he is basically dead. He also does say Charles never asked for this and callaban never asked for this and they ended up dead. Callaban kills himself as he feels quilty and wants to kill Pierce and the other guy in the van.
He could have thrown one of them slightly farther, hadn't Pearce been protected by the plot shield. But because Caliban was super inteligent he knew about the plot shield. :)
people feeling awful about Logan dying and im here in chronic depression because caliban took care of them and was a good guy. yet he died and never got to know that they cared for him. Charles too. I almost flipped my shit in the movie
Pierce say that Caliban used to track mutants for the Reavers. So it's implied that he has a dark history similar to the comics and had a crisis of conscience when he learned what they were doing to the mutants. That's why he's willing to sacrifice everything to help take care of Professor X.
Charles isn't dead,he simply transferred his conscience into one of those horses. Kinda like he did in the last stand. I for one want to see him as a mythical psychic unicorn.
I really mean this in a serious way. Patrick steward should be nominated for a Oscar. He was awesome in this movie. Professor x saying fuck I still can't believe he said that.
The last film of this caliber was The Dark Knight. Logan was honestly one of the best written, emotional and just darn right amazing piece of screenplay I have ever seen
revealing him as the main villain would have been the perfect way to cripple Logan on an emotional level, and take the fight out of him. Not to mention he would be the perfect counter balance to x23, on one side a surrogate daughter he didn't ask for who's trying to escape from being turned into a mindless murder machine, on the other hand the actual son he failed who grew up to be a hired killer.
The last movie to have me in my feelings like Logan was the last Fast and Furious 😭 It's just because it feels like you're there growing with the characters so when they die it's heart breaking 😔
INJUSTICE FOR ALL But I was a little bit confused, when I watched the movie. laura (X-23) is the daughter of logan. but is she still the daughter of logan in the comics?
Kurt Gabriel Panganiban to simplify it, they used wolverines DNA and impregnated a woman creating X-23 (Laura). except in the movie her mother was some random mexican woman but in the comics the woman who gave birth to her was a scientist (dr. sarah kinney) that pretty much created her (genetically wise), and she wasn't mexican, she was of asian decent hence why if you search X-23 (comics) up she's got black hair. lil bit of whitewashing happening lol, but yeah in the movie and comics she's technically wolverines daughter as she wasn't a test tube baby, she was actually given birth to.
The only thing I think they should have changed about Logan would be to change X-24 to daken! Would of been great to see that happen, not sure who could have played him thou
I'd also say that X-24 resembles Daken in a way. If Laura can be considered Logan's daughter, than X-24 can be considered Logan's son. Like Daken who was raised and brained-washed by Romulus, X-24 was raised a trained as a killing machine--and serves as a major antagonist.
Wait a minute. The next deadpool is about Cable... Rictor joins Cable... Logan is done for and Rami Malek looks a lot like the kid Rictor o.O Urhmurhgurh. New storylines to fuck it all up even more incoming!
For fans of great movies if you wanna know more about the actor behind Dr. Rice I highly recommend seeing the movie Withnail & I. Richard E. Grant is one of the greatest supporting actors alive today.
I was not to upset about Logan's death considering how it is just part of a multiverse were every thing is canon even though a lot of things contradict each other. Hell Deadpool has even killed Logan.
I think these particular characters from the movie (LOGAN) deserves to be considered being added into a Marvel show series; Be it a cartoon show series, or a live-action show series.
Regardless of how much I love Logan and is one of my favorite comic book movie, I still think the villains could have been done better. Donald Piece should had been as good as his comic counterpart, and X-24 could have been replaced by Daken or Victor Creed to put in some psychological/emotional conflict when they intimidate Logan other than just brawling with strength alone. It's just my opinion.
M15949 No, trigger scent is a substance that would send X-23 into a blind rage, and kill everyone in her surroundings. Explain how that may apply to you.
SPOILERS In case people wonder how Caliban could get captured so easily... Don't forget he's the product of the greatest minds of this generation, working together with the express purpose of building the dumbest moron who ever lived.
a child beating an adult is always bad, but its her superior corridination and human instincts that defeated a pachine. Wow the Robotwolverine was done well for those who like those themes. Clone or robot pick one.
Dr. Rice actually only takes a shot to the neck... He could survive it. Also, X-24 could live on as Logan seeing as how the bullet to the head would only wipe his memory and conditioning.
"...not that tough because they're beaten up by a little girl" is this seriously words that came out of the mouth of someone who'd seen her in action???
her nurse died (probably her mother too) but, it didnt show her grieving at all anyway and either way i said her killing her mothe. that and her mother dying are two different things. her killing her mother is obviously a lot worse.
Obito Uchiha Even if he is injured and X24 healed, at least he did try to help. Many people complained about them not helping. But they are doing their best and Logan told them to back off so he can save the new generation of mutants
+Andy Pham What? I... don't know what your point is. The kids did fine, but I did wish they had more screen time. Then again, I also bias because Rictor is a very near and dear character in my heart. I relate to him in the comics (I have depression and I'm bi) so I was hyped to see him in the big screens.
I thought X-24 was meant to be like Daken since both X-24 and Laura are clones of Logan and Laura is considered Logan's daughter and Daken is Logan's actually son from the comics.
Calliban sacrificed himself because he saw what has happened to Charles through X-24's eyes/surveillance, right? He didn't want anymore xmen to die because of his tracking ability.
So, I want to ask people, how many times have you seen Logan since the Cinema release? Am I the only one who has seen it more than once? I saw it twice and may even see it a third time with a friend!
