I know you guys already finished the series, but from my experience, watching AoT for the 2nd time is something else. Seeing all the connections that wern't apparent before, all the foreshadowing, all the secrets I know will make sense 3 seasons later... even watching episode 1 was so interesting for so many reasons (ranging from "oh hey, young Berth and Reiner are here", to "oh my god this was happening all along" for scenes I don't want to talk about in case somebody here didn't watch season 4 yet). It is really incredible, so if you ever run out of ideas, this would be a good one I think.

After this rewatch I can appreciate better the whole Ymir background story and the amount of reveals she give. In last two episodes she explained almost everything for next 2 seasons.ANYWAY, Since episode 1x01 we are placed in front of a simple fact: there are titans who act by basic instinct, they run after people to devour them, and then there are titans who act differently (kicking the first door, run through the second door…), we then discover some of them are infiltrated into the lines, these sounds much like a plan, a strategy, and if you have a plan, someone planned it: who is the higher power? This show is amazing, deep into season 2, we know about a war, we don’t know nothing about the “enemy” yet, and by the end of the show you will be even conflicted on who the enemy is. Do you remember? Erwin: “do you know who is the real enemy?”
