It would be nice if you could get closer. All I can see is that you're doing stuff to a phone and explaining it. How did you disconnect the battery? All I learned from this video was how to take the back off of my phone
Omg I cant thank you enough for posting this video!!! I thought I was going to have to buy a new phone, but thanks to this, I was able to swap out the parts and my phone is actually charging now as we speak!! Im so excited lol thank you thank you thank you!!!! 😊
I have swapped mine out 3 times now, including once on the fly, on a hotel room bed, wile traveling out of state. Thanks for the video. I just wish they made the things more durable. But sad nature of industry is phones are built to break to make us replace them.
Thanks this was a big help! Might want to add a warning that too much heat can make the battery explode. Also different camera angles so we can see how you did the steps would be helpful.
It takes a lot of heat to do either of those things. Heat is your friend in mobile repair. Now, metal tools with batteries that's a big, big no no. Oxygen and metal will cause fire. You of course do not want direct heat on the inside of the phone for an extended period of time. Anyways. Have a great day all! be safe!
The first suggestion should be to export the data and trash the phone. Fixing the stylo 5 which is a cheap phone cheaply made with a poorly attached plastic charge port only prolongs the inevitable.
Weird question, if I were to take the charging port out of my LG stylo 5, and put it in my LG Stylo 6 which needs a replacement would it be compatible?
Look it up and see if the replacement parts are the same....or open up your phones and compare the two....I was able to switch out the ports from my old Stylo 5 to my new one and it worked great....but IDK about switching a 5 and 6....so, like I said, you'd have to either look it up or compare the parts urself
