The stars were alinegn at the right time for a change to get Harbaugh. Harbaugh looked at other NFL teams prior, but winning the college national title made Harbaugh exit from Michigan and entrance back to the NFL a lot better. It's great that the Chargers took him in, and had a chance to talk to him first when Michigan played in Pasadena. A golden opportunity to talk to Harbaugh first.

Harbaugh's vision with Herbert is not limited to a 6'5" QB who just hands the FB to his RBs but rather a QB providing explosive plays to a well-balanced offense.
