Charity killed it with this rumba. Artem sure put in alot of work in choreographing this dance.

Oh my GOD this was INSANELY STUNNING. I got the chills-combo of the song and the dancing, and both of them remaining fully in character the entire time!! Charity REALLY took CAI’s note about keeping her face “in the dance” to heart, as was evidenced FULLY in both of her dances tonight! Also…the closeups of her friggin FACE at the beginning and end….she’s literally just one of the most beautiful humans. Like WHAT!

Excuse me, that was perfection!!

I rarely comment on things, but I had to for this one. First, this dance was gorgeous. They really did look like they were gliding across the floor and it had such a light, ethereal feel to it. My one critique (and this is just my opinion) is that I would have liked to have seen just a tiny bit more of a connection between the two of them. Some passion. Up until this dance, I've felt like Charity did fantastic technically, but she doesn't feel it. It was almost like watching a robot. Not everything is on her though, I feel like Artem could get her to look at him more while dancing. They have to match energies. It's hard to get into it when your partner won't "let go" and emote. She improved in this dance, and honestly I think it deserved all 10s. But I would love to see her really connect with Artem for the finale. If you want to watch some dances where Artem looks like he's having the most fun dancing and his parter gives "good face" watch all of his dances with his partner Natalie Gumede from Strictly Come Dancing on yt. There was amazing connection and passion there. I understand that Charity isn't an actress, but i would love to see it. Best of luck to them! ❤

This did something to me

I wanted to see at least one full Rumba move. A nice dance nevertheless.

The fact that they her a slow song tells me that they don’t want her in the finals. People vote for fast, dramatic Routines

And let's not forget Charity Lawson & Artem Chigvintsev as they Rumba in round one with the song "Love The Way You Lie Part Two by Skylar Grey. Derek thought she made the dance look effortless , the way she articulated her feet was fantastic, but there's still a bit of emotional disconnection. Bruno begs to differ, she was really emoting and feeling the dance and Carrie Ann agrees with Bruno that she had the breakthrough, it was artistry in motion. Two 9s for Carrie Ann and Bruno and one 9 for Derek bring from 29 out of 30 to an impressive lower score unfortunately, there were no elimination replied DM but it's up to......

How did she get two 10s? She didn’t point her feet and her legs didn’t look strong but she still looked stiff. I’m not hating, it’s a beautiful dance but there’s is much room for improvement, so I wouldn’t have scored a 10.

Like I said #dwts #abc DO NOT want a BLACK WOMAN to SHINE. Out of 30 seasons they've only had ONE BLACK WOMAN ever win! This speaks volumes! Derrick is a pos and had the audacity to say she wasn't given enough emotion and Bruno had to cut him off! Because he knew that was a damn lie. Charity should have gotten all 10s for this performance. She gave emotion and they still say it wasn't enough. Stop trying to break black women down!

That was a beautiful dance, but she doesn’t always connect with the audience that may be her downfall.

I would bet she or Val were the one to go so DWTS saved them all. Competition calls for someone to leave. They couldn't stand that Arian, Jason and Alyson got more votes

My problem with her is that she can’t do facial expressions.

I thought Ariana rumba was way better and way more elegant and graceful.

Stunning rumba but she still doesn't feel the dance which is such a shame. At 0.18 she could have looked at Artem or felt the move instead staring blankly at the camera ahead. The ending stance at 1.28, again blank eyes, no expression at all. This could have an absolutely brilliant dance because the choreography and her execution of steps was exquisite.

Ariana did better on her rumba had the hip action and all and Charity gave little to no hip action whatsoever and this is supposedly scored higher than Ariana’s?😩 Make it make sense!

Her fanale freestyle was NOT dancing, it was a cheerleader routine. 👎
