Dang, what a totally delightful guy. Despite tough times and hardships, he seems to have always tried to make the most out of his situation. I’m so happy to have heard his story and to have met him remotely. God Speed, Sir!

You know out of 16 million that served in ww2, there are only just over 300,000 left today in 2020. That's flippin crazy. Thank you for your service ladies and gentlemen.

Glad King Neptune didn't drown Charles! What an upbeat, positive spirit. Would have liked to know his job after his service. I'm willing to bet he did a great job whatever it was.

Wish we could pull together to take those who can from ww2 and visit Omaha beach. My one dream place to visit. To feel that atmosphere would be surreal,

Although I’m grateful for Mr Temple’s service, it’s misleading titling it the same as the combat veterans. Mr Temple did not deploy until after the war. If you’re looking for combat stories, you won’t find any here.

Yeah a nice guy but he really didn't do anything. I mean I don't really see a reason to interview him. He got to Japan in 1946? Why interview him...
