The idea of 'The Charleston' would sound so outdated in 1954, but it all goes to show that great music does not age. Wonder how many tried to rock & roll or jive to it 🙂
Nostalgia at it's purest, by then the flappers were too in their 50s remembering how good the 20s were. I''ve always wonder how the youngsters saw the 1920s music revival from the early 50s. I'm glad you enjoyed my friend!
I got this one just after getting the other, I think there is another couple of them that it would nice to have to complete all his re recordings. I'm glad this one brought you a nice memory!
