This early Electrical recording is one of the best, if not the best, version of the Charleston ever recorded. My copy is quite well played and worn, but after multiple cleanings and using a few digital filter tricks, it turned out pretty well. Just a little background noise. There is just something very appealing about any version of the Charleston. It is such an appealing rhythmic dance number it is hard to hear without getting a bit caught up by it. I think it might just be impossible to be sad when this song is playing!
