I remember when the Mall opened as I was living in Charleston at the time. It is so sad to see such a magnificent place to be bare.

Today it is dangerous to go into Charleston the parking garage is so dangerous. Sad that we lost our Capitol Street merchants like the Diamond, Stone and Thomas, Embees and many more for this failure. Big also isn't best

Probably, but they found a buyer regardless. The Hull Property Group purchased the Town Center Mall in early May.

I was told this would happen due to online shopping years ago. Because everyone was pushing emails for contact sales, and that was just the beginning. Then came regular online shopping for convenience. One manager told me, that we are putting ourselves out of business....and she was right. I never grasped how serious it would be. We are back to where we started many, many, many years ago. Odd!!!! It was catalogs, now its online.
