When people play guitar well over their mic in games, I always have the same question. “What was your first song you learned to play?” If it isn’t Smoke on the Water, I immediately call BS. If it IS Smoke on the Water, I ask them to play the intro to Hot for Teacher and usually get a “screw you, nobody is as good as he was”
bro I’ve said so many swears in my guitar lessons I felt this so hard my guitar teacher is probably gonna hang up a cross soon from all the horrid things that come out of my mouth
being a musician is a lot like taking a piss. you do your thing effortlessly and without thinking when you’re alone, but when people are watching you it’s a different story
@@j3c818 other people have said that we was being salty by saying “shut up”. I’m pointing out that he wasn’t. I don’t know why you’re so aggressive about the whole thing.
As a guitarist, I felt that "Shit." On a spiritual level. I know that feeling all too well. Guarantee after the call, he played it perfectly, not a single mistake. He probably played it better than he ever did before.
I've seen people laugh like that before, and usually they have something they wanna say in response to the moment, but they end up struggling to say it bc they just wanna laugh at whatever was funny enough to make laugh that hard :)
This is so true when you play guitar in front of people or online in this case when people are hearing you. But when you’re alone you be hitting these riffs like crazy.
I practiced this song for my guitar recital until I got it perfect and then the day of the recital I sat down in front of audience and literally forgot the first 10 seconds of the song. I sat there for like twenty seconds in complete confusion. 😔
This is so relatable; even if you know you're absolutely capable of doing something and have done it countless times, as soon as you do it in front of someone you just shutdown and forget everything
The bane of being a starting musician. lol. I can play some bass covers flawlessly on my own, but as soon as I play in front of someone my brain just goes brrr.
Man really told charlie to shut up 💀💀💀 Edit: Bro yall gotta stop telling me to stop treating anyone with fame as a prophet. I said this in a reply a while ago (no joke, scroll just a tiny bit on the replies to this comment and you'll find it) but I meant it more because charlie was one of his judges than because hes charlie
I love how Charlie can look like an emotionless edgelord to one of the happiest people on the planet in mere milliseconds Edit: Nothing to see down this mineshaft of replies, go on about your day, and have fun!
@@Dan_Kanerva you really just move the goalposts so you sound smart don't you? I would genuinely like to see your reaction to an actual angry person😂 Also just because you put a skull emoji in your comment doesn't make it automatically funny, you little guys seem to overuse it ALOT lmao
@@deediedededoeread what you're writing man. the guy who replied is just saying you're overreacting, and then you proved him right. What does goalposts even have to do with this?
Totally relate to this! Practiced "I see fire" for about 2 weeks and when I finally had enough of it memorized to play it without watching the youtube video I went to go show my misses. The second I played for her I instantly fucked up and we were in tears for like 30 mins straight cause she knew how kuch I was practicing and I came to her with a botched song 🤣
