In my personal life experiences, a portion of the black community are raised to believe in oppression, but they have never experienced it. I grew up in a small community and personally went to ALL of the same exact public schools as the black community…with my Elementary and Middle schools DIRECTLY IN the black community…as in, a significant number of black kids WALKED to school. My family was lower class, living in a mobile home, and my siblings and I got our first jobs at 15 to save for our own first cars and brand name clothing. We each paid for ALL of our vehicle expenses, from the purchase, registration ( in our parents name), fuel, maintenance, insurance and any modifications. We each purchased our own wardrobes, with Tommy Hilfiger and Polo(which were pricy clothing that all the cool kids wore),…and even our own tennis rackets. Each tennis racket cost about $300, but the we had to get them strung up…so, closer to $350 or $400. Minimum wage was $4.25 in this era, so we literally had to work 100 hours to be able to afford ONE tennis racket, and we always had two or three(in case you break a string during a match, you just grab another racket). After high school graduation, all three of us kids were individually and independently responsible for our own college expenses. Our parents didn’t pay one red cent for our college tuition. All three of us have different degrees that we individually paid for: I have an AA, my sister has a Bachelor’s in Business Administration and my brother has a Masters in Business Administration. As adults, we are all very comfortable UPPER middle class now. There’s absolutely zero “White Privilege” in this…NONE! The greatest majority of the black community uses this as an excuse. Show me a genuine study that proves otherwise…not just a single, or handful of examples. Show me an ACCREDITED STUDY. And, even though I have the lowest degree of my siblings, I still make the most money. It pisses my brother off every year when he does my taxes.
Can you imagine that thing being your child. Or Evan that a future with.!! What language. If she has children they will pick up the samel language and the same racism.
