@@LittleLulubee Charlie interrupts because most woke college kids keep blathering on and on with repeated talking points without having any meaningful debate and refuse to hear the truth. Something no one seems to be mentioning is that Gaza has had YEARS to establish their own utilities, something Israel actively encouraged. They chose not to do so, and not they’ve started a war with the people that provide those utilities for them. Hamas spent all their money on rockets and underground tunnels rather than building proper infrastructure to protect and support their people. It’s just one more way Hamas has sacrificed their own people and made Israel look like the bad guys.
I’m actually impressed with this young student and how he was well behaved and willing to listen instead of just spewing nonsense and being confrontational

He has a right to ask his question. We don't know who he is or what sort of life he's led. There is nothing wrong with having concern and compassion for innocent children. And don't forget that he even acknowledged that Hamas are ultimately to blame. Perhaps he deserves a little credit for that.

@@b12deficient24 My family has experienced war and it is not pretty. The innocent always suffer for the decisions that other people and their government makes. It is simply a fact of war. The problem with ALL these kids (under the age of 35) is their parents. Their parents gave them EVERTYTHING except discipline, truth & mentorship. Parents wanted a young friend and parents wanted to live vicariously through their kids!
One of the common misconceptions I see is that people don't know the difference between the Gaza Strip, and Gaza city, which is the northern part of the strip. Israel has told them to get out of the north half, Gaza city, because that's going to get pounded. A lot of people think Israel has blocked all escape routes out of Gaza Strip, and then told Palestinians to leave the Gaza Strip entirely as some sick joke, and that's not the case. That's not to say it's going to be easy by any means, but frankly Israel has given more thought to the safety of Palestinians than Hamas have.
@@stevepompei3694 I can only assume that Israel believes that much if not all of Hamas's military infrastructure is within Gaza city, and intend to destroy it. Bunkers, tunnels, weapon caches, rocket launchers etc, which would reduce their ability to be an effective force. After that I would guess it's a door-to-door operation, executing Hamas terrorists when they're found, confiscating weapons and trying to find hostages. The bigger question then is, what to do after that? Egypt despite being a muslim majority nation has managed to smash the Muslim Brotherhood in Egypt, another extremist organisation. The last thing they want is to accept Hamas members across the border and import more Islamic extremism into their midst. Historically they've been content to send aid over the border, but permit very little in way of people back across it. Does Israel resume the military occupation they abandoned in 2005? They hoped it would be the start of peaceful coexistence, but it's clear now Hamas used that peace to gather weapons and train their terrorists before launching the latest animalistic attack. Beats me. I'm entirely guessing and extrapolating from what happened before now.
It's simple if you want people to leave somewhere without bloodshed! cut off food cut off the water and they will have to leave. It's more morally right than not

And I wish the response would had been, we cut off their means of survival and we cut them all off. It’s not about hurting innocent people but we have to understand this in war and many will suffer. But remember, they were the who’s who started it. I pray for all the innocent people and hope they never allow these inhumane people to live amongst them again.
restricting resources coming into a location is literally the point of a siege. its meant to break the will of the opponent and force capitulation without completely eradicating them or the location being sieged. there is also a massive difference between civilian casualty as collateral damage in a war effort and deliberately targeting civilians.
"Intentionally using starvation of civilians as a method of warfare by depriving them of objects indispensable to their survival, including willfully impeding relief supplies as provided for under the Geneva Conventions” constitutes a war crime in international armed conflicts." As Charlie said, the Israeli authorities asked the residents of the northern half of Gaza to evacuate to the southern half, which they are doing. So they are giving them a chance to leave. The people in Gaza have been kept surveilled bombed sniped brutalized have their water shut off on a weekly basis their electricity shut off on a weekly basis they don't have proper garbage service. It is an open-air prison and has been for years and years of course the people are going to retaliate against that kind of evil. Charlie Kirk is putting himself right up there with the Nazis when he says this b*******.
This kid just has compassion, which is totally understandable. He has just been indoctrinated to blame the defender and not the aggressor. Which is what we are seeing today with law enforcement- radicals defending the criminals instead of the victims.
Kids read a paragraph in an online article and think they are experts on the topic. These people have hated, hated with vengeance for generations and generations, and they think it can be stopped and lay blame because of feelings…
One thing Kirk touched on was the fact that "PEOPLE ARE GOING TO DIE" that my friends is the one inescapable FACT that cannot be gotten around where war is concerned. It is important that it was brought up because I'm going to give you a little history lessons that they don't teach in schools, but should. General Eisenhower and Churchill were at loggerheads about Britain using their bombers in Operation Overlord, at Normandy. Britain was bombing Germany but Eisenhower needed the bombers at Normandy to pull off Operation Overlord. Churchill DID NOT want to quit bombing Germany for any reason. What Eisenhower did next was one of the many, many, many extraordinary things he did to get those bombers. Eisenhower went to France's president DeGaulle and asked his permission to destroy things like bridges, electric plants and other important infrastructure and assured DeGaulle that French citizens were going to die in doing so. DeGaulle gave the go ahead since that seemed the only way to liberate France from the Nazis. It was a tough time and leaders had to make some tough decisions that cost real lives. DeGaulle's reasoning was that the French needed to do their part and make their sacrifices for the success of defeating the Nazis. That conversation between two reasonable men is what won Churchill over, Put Eisenhower in complete control of the war and led to the success of Operation Overlord, which up until then was the most massive military undertaken by far in the world's history. Over `150K men & over 7000 ships were involved in Overlord. With the deception of the Germans that they were going to land north of Normandy, and all that military movement and some luck Overlord was a raging success. Within 48 hours Allied forces had put 500K men into France to fight the Nazis and helped to end WW!! on the European theater. Yes, there is no escaping the fact that people are going to die needlessly in war, but sometimes those decisions of death actually save countless lives that would have been lost otherwise. Eisenhower went ahead with Overlord "KNOWING" that in 24 hours about 70% of those he sent to the shores of Normandy would be dead. THAT is one hell of a decision to weigh down one man's soul! I couldn't have made those decisions I don't think.
Multiple nations provided resources to Palestinians through the UN and running water systems were installed. It didn’t take long for them to dig up the water mains and use the pipes as bodies for rockets.
These young people nowadays appear to have no reference as to what it takes to fight a war. Denial of services is a very important tool in fighting against any adversary. Water is one of the most important services anyone can ever need, so denying access to water is a substantial tool in fighting that conflict. Maybe that denial of water will help the innocent people being affected to make the decision to help fight against the terrorists so they can regain their access to those services.
Example if how questionable a "Palestinian" may be about separating from Hamas and Anti-Jewish views for example is the fact that a Pizza store there used the image of a Holocaust survivor they kidnapped as a marketing ploy to sell and used disgusting language to celebrate the capture. How about after news reaches Germany evil scum that came from there celebrated with giving out candies...
It was so unfair of the British during the Blitz to not supply the Nazi's with food was water! And also, the USA, how dare they not give Japan oil after Pearl Harbor! 🙄🙄🙄

A soldier must be disciplined when doing their duty. They mustn’t let the anger of the citizens translate into excesses in war deaths. It is difficult not to give the people that voted for these monsters exactly what they asked for. “For they shall sow wind, and reap a whirlwind.”-Osee 8:7
Assuming that you are referring to the people of the Gaza strip, although I agree with your sentiment I am not sure that those were real "elections" . Hamas has manipulated the situation to use the Palestinian civilians as their human shields because they knew that too many people would then blame Israel for the civilian casualties. The Hospital charade was another of their wonderful media tactics
Charlie what you need to tell them is look at this as a liberation for the Palestinians from Hamas. Once the Palestinians are free from Hamas Palestinians will be free of terrorism.
Not really… their book teaches them to kill all infidels. And their parents teach them that Israel is theirs. So even if Hamas, (or the Taliban, or ISIS, or any of these groups in various places are eradicated), as long as they follow that book, new ones will always pop up, around the world.

If, after this horrific atrocity, Israel levels the Gaza strip and takes it back; they are entirely justified. They won't, but they would be entirely justified. The thing is, when the controlling authority houses attack emplacements in/under schools, hospitals and apartments, specifically telling people not to leave when warned, because their deaths are good for the conflict, that authority has forfeited any claim to legitimacy, or victimhood when responses come.
You know that happened many years ago in a way. In 1948, Israel's country had lended half of Jerusalem to Egypt and the Arabs. I think it was "East Jerusalem" but don't quote me. Well afterwards, Egypt and others attacked Israel out of the blue about 20 years later in what was called "The Six Day War." Well, Israel retaliated something mighty! Their counterattack was so dynamic that the Israelis even raced into a portion of Egypt in their attack. However, Russia intervened and told Israel to return to the border, which the Israelis did. But in the aftermath, Egypt lost East Jerusalem. A true story
These wet behind the ear college kids need to see the reality that life is a struggle and sometimes we have to do things we don't like to do. And there are "NO SAFE SPACES"! When I was growing up the majority of kids usually had to work through problems on our own. Unless it was something very serious, we wouldn't dare come home from school or anywhere else and complain or whine about a problem. We had to figure out how to handle a situation and take care of it. If we didn't handle it the best way possible, the parents would step in and correct us and not necessarily by talking about the problem. Sometimes if we screwed up the solution to the problem, we'd get grounded, or the belt would come out. If someone disrespected you, or threatened you, you'd crack them right then. No damn safe space, or whine to someone. And here's the thing. It's not as much the kid's fault. A large part of it is the parents' fault. Parents got lazy over the years and didn't teach their sons and daughters to be real men and true women.
In some cases, Charlie Kirk is correct. In war, cutting off resources to your enemy is a very common tactic. This is especially true in cases where you can't find your enemy (like Hamas). However, in the example Charlie gave of the US fighting Cuba, there is a clear understanding of where the military and government targets are. As a result, cutting off resources like water and food to the nation (if that was within your power) would affect non-combatants. It might also be considered a war crime in some cases.
A war crime? Good grief. So I guess you would have been against dropping those bombs on Japan? Even though, had we not, many Americans would have died to finally get Japan to surrender.
@@cjs7553 Not necessarily. The Japanese would have surrendered if the allies agreed that the emperor could not face any prosecution. Collateral damage is common in war no matter what side perpetrates it. Ask yourself one question, would you be fine if you or one of your love ones were affected by the atomic bombs the hit Hiroshima? Had you been personally affected, you might consider it to be a war crime too.
A proportionate response to the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor would have been a reciprocal attack by the US on one of the Japanese bases instead of a declaration of war. Who thinks that would have changed the trajectory of the Japanese military? (Not my analogy, but one that I like).
I think I understand the point you’re making. That a “proportionate” response to an enemy intent on war is useless. By December 7, 1941 - Japanese bomb Pearl Harbor, Hawaii; also attack the Philippines, Wake Island, Guam, Malaya, Thailand, Shanghai and Midway. They had already invaded China and Manchuria by 1937. Seems like their “trajectory” was already established and their attack on Pearl Harbor was to keep the USA from preventing them from conquering Asia which was their stated goal from the outset
Who says we had to be proportionate? We didn't have the element of surprise. If attacking a Japanese base was easy, we would have done that early in the war.
