It's funny how people get upset about portraying Jesus as black, but what about all the white churches where Jesus has blonde hair and blue eyes? Jesus was middle-eastern. You can portray him anyway you want if it helps reach more people in a positive way.

Some of those Black Jesus skits were funny but it's hard to see how it would translate into a whole half-hour show. I'ma have to check this out. Black Jesus' friends saying they were tired of him trying to bum some money from them all the time by showing them his palms with the nail holes in them was hilarious.
