@@furqanjaved804 I love the kind of humour that this show provides. You can watch any episode from any season and you won't get bored. Also, acting from an entire cast was phenomenal which is rare in sitcoms. Only show I can think of other than this is Office. Especially Jon Cryer as Alan Harper was hilarious. For an example I love Big Bang theory and Friends but I only love these shows when there are certain actors are in the scene like Jim Parsons or Lisa Kudrow or David Schwimmer. If you remove those actors from those shows and they just get boring and cringe.

Patrice O'Neal's bit was hilarious. I particularly liked what he said to Seth MacFarlane. He told him he should come out of the closet because "no straight man writes that many show tunes." Since Brian's and Stewie's numbers are my favorite aspects of Family Guy, I loved that.

I agree, but also think that determining if a joke about someone is too harsh is always difficult to tell. To some ppl the level of harshness may be looked at differently. No one went overboard considering the absolute insane things Charlie had been saying so I think they could have been harsher/ imaginative, as long as it was funny is all that matters. I suppose I can feel it's harsh when it's Pam Anderson or Bruce Willis is the roastee and they seem like really nice people and if they have kids I feel bad for them but at the same time it's a roast and for sake of comedy, comedians shouldn't hold back.

Charlie attacked Jon in real life, and Jon understandably took it personally. Jon saw the worst of Charlie, and he wasn't going to just gently rib him during a roast. There is real bad blood between them. I don't think Jon found any of this funny because he actually cared about Charlie and saw how serious his problems were.

Interesting story. I think it's weird that Martin Sheen let his 10-year old son Charlie onto the set of such of brutal film.

@@theeclectic2919 Yeah, that was pretty weird. But it took 16 months to shoot the movie. I don't know the entire story, but it's possible that Sheen's family only visited the set for a short time. Actually, who knows if Charlie played with severed heads or whether that was just how he said it for comic effect at a roast? But his reference to the film as an indication of his lifelong ability to survive anything appealed to me.

True.. but RDJ also knows how very over the top Hollywood was getting about the time Charlie's were made public. When Disney wrecks the movie franchise he helped build like they did to Pirates... he will be even more of a legend for his part.
