@@angelkotilainen She evidently hated it, and singing classical wasn't her choice. Obviously her parents guided her to do so, and she succeeded as this are while she could, despite of her errors, her tune was pleasant. Bouncing chin, big mistake! Vibrato comes from a breathing technique using the diaphragm and good posture. I'm sure she learned it with time. Despite all of that CC left a legacy to us, music we love and thanks to RU-vid we can enjoy it though she won't sing it again. I understand her decision of going to pop music as it could be easier to sing compared to classical. It could have demanded more years of preparation and i don't a teenager wants to spend those precious years learning "boring" stuff. Boring for many, precious for us ! Thank you CC you'll always be in our hearts.

I loved her singing style " bouncing chin" n all. It obviously didn't hurt her performances. She had such an amazing powerful voice. I love listening to her.

Charlotte was 14 here. She filmed her Dream a Dream concert, along with the supplementary footage about the birth of Christ at the same time. At one point, she was asked her age, and she said 14.

Let me also say that I was mortified when I saw they were bringing a female out for the other part but honestly it was the second girl who “slayed” it. The part is written for a boy soprano and her tone and timbre were perfect for the part.
