HI everyone and welcome to this weeks addition from Charlotte Plains Station, to relax in the Artesian Hot Baths / Hot Springs or Hot Tubs. Consider this as your camping near Cunnamulla spot, while touring Outback Queensland, AUST.
The Artesian Hot Baths are a natural heat from the underground basin below the ground and will be constantly above 40 degree Celsius. Stay warm on those cold winter night and check out this unique Outback Queensland experience.

No worry's Phil, I'm so glad you came back to watch. Do you ever wind down when your filming and relaxing at places like this when your running around ? Or have you been to Charlotte Plains ?

@@AquariusTraveller Yes we always plan R&R in with our travel plans as our filming tends to lead to particularly long days. Haven't been to Charlotte Plains.

We have been to the Mitchell Great Artesian Spa and the Quilpie Spas so far in QLD, and Lightning Ridge bore bath in NSW....Hoping to cross a few more off the list eventually! They are totally relaxing for the Muscles!!

Great video and really tells the story of a very unique property, very well. The water didn't smell one iota while I was there. The bore baths were simply sublime to sink into!! Thanks for posting!

Hi Jenny and thanks for stopping by to watch this addition. I loved Charlotte Plains and I guess the strong smell can differ between what people are use to ......and might also change throughout the year too. I wish I could have stayed longer to enjoy those baths and glad you found value in a place you have visited :). In the middle of no where...so different to the big city's. But the hot baths were very unique.... do you have any in your area ?

Awesome to see you back again and really glad you liked this one. Just finished off the Charleville episode that will be released next week. Those baby animals are so darn cute! Are those lobsters?! LOVE those baths! How awesome to be able to enjoy a sunrise there?! Perfect way to start the day.1/5 of Australia, wow!!

Much much smaller than a lobster...probably the size of your hand.... but called yabbies and most people in Australia fish for them to use as bait on fishing lines. Been so long since I've eaten any but they are eatable 👍 The baths are just amazing and managed to see 2 spots on this trip with Artesian water.... so many of them around and will have to try some more I reckon. Thanks a bunch for watching guys 👍😁💖

Great show Chris! I’m actually out Bush with Candace tenting now, so it was appropriate. 😉 The feeding of the young cattle was sweet, as well as the views of the baby Emus. That’s a little crazy about the temps of the H2O coming out of the faucets! Great production! 🥂

Thats so cute - I hope you have a blast camping. We are hoping to back out camping again soon too :) I love all the wild animals, especially when I can't see most of them here in the big city - unless it's in a zoo and that's not as much fun! It is crazy about the temps - especially when it's mother earth that's creating it :)

This looked like such a fun day. I've never experienced hot baths or an emu in the wild, and both are definitely on our to-do list!

It was a very cool and unique place to stay. I did a lot of astrophotography around here....It's in a very low light pollution zone and perfect for those conditions. Some of those pictures have made it to Instagram. I wish we stayed right beside the baths, but didn't know at the time there were so far away. I guess this is when I get to tell everyone else that :) Thanks for watching guys !

@@Explorcation I like testing out new types of photography all the time, the Astro stuff is still a work in progress and the biggest thing is I need a program for stacking to reduce noise in the photo.....but I will get there eventually :)

It was s cute little experience......might have to find some more Artesian Spa spots around the place. They were the neighbours yabbies, so didn't get to try.... but they said they were great 😁👍

Wife n 2 kids the feed.... I think it's was the kids first time to have them. Always fun to catch the yabbies... but a bit squeamish to eat them....I think one didn't. Don't think I've eaten a yabbies since I was a kid ...lol

What an interesting place to visit. I am amazed that it runs 24/7. What happens to all that water run off? I hate to be a killjoy but isn't that a LOT of water wastage in a place which badly needs it? Or is this water not much use for farming anyway?

The creek runs all around the property and feeds the sourounding plants and wild life. The basin is so huge, waters all come through the ground from the north. The pressure from the heat underneath is bringing it up and I believe that's why it can't be turned off. I'm sure the one at Mitchell runs all the same way.

Haha... yeah, I walked out of the shower and there was a huge cow in front of me😂😂... not what I was expecting but very cool. Loved seeing the babies around 💖
