I love that you referenced the price per gram and compared to Rare Beauty liquid blush! I was thinking the EXACT same thing in comparison to CT new powder highlighters vs Rare Beauty highlighters. Rare Beauty’s were half the price, however you receive half the amount of product! To your point; I appreciate you mentioning this😊 I purchased all 4 shades and I agree with you, I LOVE pink blush and the Pink Pop seems very light and peach toned! Thank you for the amazing review❤️
Your comments were the most thorough and honest of reviews Kait. I wasnt so sure about these blushes but viewing your vid actually made me more interested in them than before. And the peach pop interests me the most because of my olive skin. Thanks Kait.
Completely agree about the charlotte tilbury packaging. Color of fair Contour wand is beautiful but I hate the applicator. It also seems like sponge applicator would harbor bacteria. Pillow talk is gorgeous on you. So is the bronzer and eyeshadow. Thanks for mentioning kulfi blush. I find Rare Beauty blush to be not fool proof enough for me. It sets so quickly and very easy to over apply.. Thanks for the great information Kait!
Love this - thank you for doing such a thorough review! I did just want to mention re the Rare Beauty blushes - re: the pricing, the price per ounce I'd say still works out in Rare Beauty's favor because you have to use waaaaay less of it per application than the CT blushes. Also, a tip I learned elsewhere that made the RB blushes work for my super super pale skin - apply a dot to the back of your hand, thin it out to a swatch, and then pick it up with a brush to apply it. This is the only way those blushes work for me, but when I do it like that, man oh man they're just the best, I love them so much. Thank you for the videos! :)
Totally, I wasn’t trying to say they were equal in value, just that the luxury markup isn’t as high as people think. And personally, I don’t like any product I have to apply on the back of my hand or mix. Just a personal thing, not the product for me.
Had to say happy birthday to one of my absolute FAVORITE people on RU-vid here since IG, for some reason, isn't letting me comment on anyone's posts 💜💜💜
Flawless...everything on you looks stunning. Im relatively new to your channel so maybe it's been done but I would love to see you create a total out of your comfort zone eye shadow bold look. Nothing to crazy,...well...maybe just a little ;)
I have, I think if you search the product name on my channel using the search function you’ll see an old review. I found it weirdly sticky, kinda smelly, and I hated the tiny applicator
CT has a bad habit of calling things"pink" that are not pink, but are peach. And on me they also turn even peachier. I'm not a CT fan because she really doesn't do many cool tones, most of her products are too peach/orange/yellow. Do you like the Pillow Talk shade better than the new Bobbi Brown Dusty Rose Bronzer?- they look kinda similar on you.
I hear you and have had similar experience with “pink” shades. I don’t think I can compare pillow talk to jones road dusky rose, they’re completely different textures and jokes road definitely has more red in it. I don’t think I could use pillow talk as a bronzer but I could try!
I like the kulfi blush colors more than these. The Charlotte Tilbury blush colors are light and patchy. The Kulfi are bright and saturated. The can be applied lighter and built up to your perfect color.
