This ad was out months before I was then born & I just spotted Charlottes Rae in there when she was a young woman just years before she played in The Facts Of Life & so this is why I really love these vintage ads .

FUN FACT: Sorrell Booke served as an Army counter intelligence officer who was a linguist specialist during the Korean War. His job was to decipher intercepted enemy messages as he was fluent in several different languages.

Mr. Stang was played by Sorrell Booke who later in the decade played Jefferson Davis “Boss” Hogg on The Dukes of Hazzard........I hope you all will reply to this

@@SkyBlue-qn8meI doubt that as Adam Savage (Mythbusters) appeared in the commercials when he was a teenager with Mr. Whipple. So, Sorrell Booke's appearance was before Mr. Whipple.

@@maddogmcrae Adam Savage was born in 1967. His earliest commercial as a teenager would have been at 13 in 1980 and there were a ton of Mr Whipple appearances before then. Various sources show Mr Whipple has been around since 1964.
