Excellent Macau´s film. The music is fine too. I went to Macau in 1997.....wonderfull city.... a treasure. After... I Came back in 2015.....I could see a new and a very different city.....(The old and incredible Chinese-Portuguese city was distroyed)

Wow! A true gem. My mom lived in Macau in the 70s and we have a picture of her standing in front of that very hotel.

I remember the Pinnochio Restaurant serving their great curry fried crab , the super delicious almond biscuit , and the steamed egg or milk custard !!

This video should be taken in 1974 or after. The earliest Macau-Taipa bridge opened in 1974.

02:54 : I didn't know in front of Lisboa Hotel it used to be a statue. Who or what did it represent?

If I'm not mistaken, it is João Maria Ferreira do Amaral, the Governor of Macao, sitting on a horse and swinging a sword to defend himself against aggressors. The statue has been removed and relocated to Lisboa in Portugal for political reasons prior to the return of Macao to China.
