Having this in the MK2 is incredible. It's gonna be months and months searching for the ultimate tone. Going back and forth MK1 to MK2 etc... Stoked.

@@yaboi-km2qn there’s something you need to realize that might make you rethink things. These pedals are 1100 bucks now. There are other pedals that cost more. People buy them. People release these limited run pedals for insane prices and people buy them instantly. Stock is out within hours or days. People also do limited run pedals that are expensive but not insane like 200-300 and then they start going for 3-4x that on the used market. It’s truly insane that people buy this kind of stuff but they do. And if they can, you can too. If you want.

@@MisterRorschach90 Definitely not insane. Pedals are simultaneously unique creative tools and a kind of collectible. It doesn't shock me at all to see the prices limited run boutique effects go for on the used market.

@@alden2205 then you haven’t looked very much at reverb. I am convinced that people are using it to launder money or something. Effects that normally sell for the markups we are talking about in the previous comments sometimes sell for 100,000 dollars. I even checked after reverb changed all the sold listings to be more accurate. There’s no way someone’s gonna spend 100k on a 200 dollar pedal that sells for 1-2k when resold normally.

App Axis yeahhhh I always wondered this as well. Or limited runs I would like to purchase but I need time to save for something. Disappointing but there is always Zvex Lofi Junky that’s affordable and gets you close to warped sounds

Honestly? Great choice. This pedal sounds like shit and the money you made could be used towards something that actually creates music and not some EQ / studio tricks in a shiny overpriced box.

sp33 eh they ship UPS...so...in a couple weeks. Since UPS is the stone cold worst.

@@someduder5786 Couldn't agree more. Primarily it's their package handling, which is atrocious. For small packages is use USPS Priority, and larger, more fragile instruments go via FedEx Ground. I can't tell you how many times I've received synths and guitars shipped via UPS that look like they were dropped out of a 2nd story window, then kicked around for good measure.

So crazy because I just got one off reverb for 420… I guess the hype of the new one got everyone lowering prices on the old one

They were wound to the same specs as the Danos. They would up being slightly different sounding but we found them more to have more dynamics with a similar overall sound.

Try a zoom ms70 and ms50 before boutique stuff. You can replicate boutique pedals extremely effectively with it, learn about pedal boards, how to stack pedals etc without spending huge amounts by trial and error. Sound quality is good enough for any live use, and I wish I'd found it before I'd bought lots of boutique stuff. I've found I've replaced lots of pedals i was using for key sounds and freed up board space - Industrial Electrics, Fairfield, Chase Bliss etc are all sitting on my shelf of shame. Pretty certain you would be able to dial in any sound from this pedal too to 99pc accuracy. You can always go boutique after you figure out what you wanna do on your pedal adventure!

@@jimsy5530 What kind of random LFO does the zoom have? I enjoy random LFO and I find multi FX usually lack in that aspect. I think this would be an awesome first guitar pedal. It or the Cooper V2 would have been my first. But they were not affordable. So I got the Romferd, which is a beautiful pedal. Then a T-120 echo, a Nightsky, a T-60 chorus/vibrato. And waiting for the ultimate MK2. Eventually after a few years I'll get something like the FM-3. And in a few years, there will be stuff less than half the price of the FM-3 that will be awesome. But in the meantime, I like twiddling knobs of boutique pedals that have unique features that multiFX don't do.
